Iimori Ichiba

Let‘s be honest.

The store is mixed with all merchandise on one side and tables on the other side. It gives me the feeling of ‘Imbiss’ or ‘deli’.

When I checked the menu, I found out that one dish costs 16€ or more.

In my mind I was like:
‘Why so expensive?’

But I have been there several times and now I can say, its food is as good as, no!, even better than some of Japanese restaurant in Frankfurt.

Today I took some food away(Tonkotsu Ramen, Spicy Miso Ramen, and Karaage) and all of them were beyond my expectation. I will definitely come back here when I am craving for Japanese food.

Of all the Japanese fast food I ate so far between Stuttgart and Frankfurt, this place is the best. The rice is really Japanese and everything is freshly cooked there.

Super tasty ramen, snacks and desserts. The staff are kind and the small attached shop offers a huge variety of asian snacks and drinks specifically Japanese ones.

Open on Sunday!!!! That's enough for 5 star but also has good variation for Japanese groceries. Recommend Matcha Smoothy 😍

a very nice and cozy supermarket with an eatery included. I had a delicious ramen there alongside an authentic Japanese softdrink and an excellent raspberry- sencha tea afterwards. Nice place to sit down, relax and enjoy Japanese hospitality.

A convenient spot for a quick lunch or dinner, and for shopping Japanese snack and cooking materials. I in particular like the curry bread they have next to the cashier, but the stock is always low when I visit the shop (after 5pm). It's open on Sunday which can come very handy. Staff are always polite and friendly.

As a Japanese living in Frankfurt, we have been waiting for an authentic Japanese supermarket for a long time and finally we have Iimori Ichiba which sells high quality, authentic Japanese foods! You can also take out or enjoy foods-rice balls, ramen noodles, salad, bento box, etc., and we had a very nice lunch today. They sell a wide variety of items-delicious cakes( I love their Paris Brest, amazing!), sweets, bread(their curry bread is highly recommended), teas, amazing collection of sakes, ingredients and sauces, etc., I was pleasantly surprised by their amazing collections of Japanese sake.

Great spot for a quick lunch if you’re near Zeil. Staff is really friendly and they have a great selection of food and drinks. You can also buy a lot of japanese snacks, food and drinks there

A hidden gem. I was very excited to see natto and my favorite wine here! Store is spacious and suuuuuper cute. Lots of cute Pokémon stuff! I will be back, definitely!

The host are very great and nice. I would say the food here is more than 5 star I would rate it 7 star. It is worth the trip out to Frankfurt just to come and shop and eat here.

Cute little place around the Konstablerwache, perfect for curious shoppers with a wide selection of snacks, condiments, teas and even fresh ingredients and seafood! We also ordered the Iimori Bento, Lachs Avocado Don, and Chicken Katsu Curry. Would recommend all three dishes (especially the Katsu curry). Just order your food and do some shopping while you‘re waiting. (So glad to finally find a place to pick up some good Natto)

A great little store with a lot of Japanese stuff. Finally a store for mainly japanese food and stuff. Most asian stores are dominated by products from other asian countries.

The onigiri are really tasty and I like to visit this place for some spontanoues tea or a snack when in frankfurt

Awesome store, great ramen. One of the few Asian stores that is Japanese focused.
