A M A Z I N G!!! Woodhenge! Try to be there at sunset! You will have the sight to yourself and get an awesome view of the sun setting on the wooden circular structure! Unique atmosphere.

Fascinating Place! We inquired a few months before our trip and were able to have an English speaking guide. She was fabulous! Really enjoyed viewing this special place! If you are interested in archaeology and/or history you will not regret visiting!!

It's an nice point of European history and culture. It's for free 24/7. And it will be better when the info point is built. Today there is an walk with Information and it took a half hour to visit the whole area. So it is also useful for kids.

Beautiful palce but hard to visit with bike! There is parking place and toilette. An Information Center is in building.

Fantastic place. Maybe 4000 years before us people had special ideas of special places with extraordinary ceremonies.

Went there by cycle.

There are two ways to reach-
If you take the main road the path seems to be smooth, but it's quite windy Most of the time.
If you take the Road through a paddy field , it looks uncertain about the reach of the destination since the path would be horrible, although experiencing & memorable 😅, but you will reach there faster .

Ein beeindruckendes Stück Geschichte. 4300 Jahre alt und immer noch imposant. Im Moment finden noch Ausgrabungen statt und es wird sicher noch mehr Sehens- und Wissenswertes hinzukommen. Der Eintritt ist frei und es gibt Toiletten und Parkplätze.

Wir haben eine Führung vor Ort mit gemacht und haben viele interessante Aussagen erhalten. Geschichte pur. Sehr interessant. Man kann die Anlage alleine erkunden oder mit Führung p.P. 6.00 €

Ich fand dieses Ort schon etwas magisch, schaurig und spannend!
wenn man sich die Infos durchliest und in die Geschichte eintaucht, läuft es mir eiskalt den Rücken lang runter… ich bekomme Bilder in meinem Kopf und denke mir 😳😨🫣 ok.

Ich war alleine da und konnte somit ganz in Ruhe gucken und lesen. Schön war auch der Falke der die ganze Zeit bei mir war. (Kraftier)

Man sieht hier eine Kult- und Begräbnisstätte unserer Vorfahren. Sehr schön sind die Betonplatten mit Bildern darauf, so das man sieht was man bei Ausgrabungen gefunden hat. Erwähnenswert ist auch der Aussichtsturm von dem der Besucher einen Überblick über die Kultstätte bekommt. Das Personal im im Besucherzentrum war auch sehr freundlich, man bekommt hier Souvenirs und Erfrischungen.

Sehr interessante Geschichte zur Entdeckung, Alter und Entwicklung des Ringheiligtums.
Mitarbeiter haben mich fundiert informiert zu den Einzelheiten der Stätte.
Der Abzweig vom Elbradweg hat sich absolut gelohnt.
Es sind auch einige Fahrradständer da, in stabiler Ausführung zum anschließen.
Es finden Regelmäßig Führungen und Veranstaltungen statt.
