Very good pork knuckle, right temperature of the meat with perfect grill crispy skill, also tasted sausage. Muniain beer is also one of the best beer I ever had. Highly Recommended restaurant, 10 mins walk from train station. Some seats outside, and there are more inside, there is a stage could be used for wedding or events. There was a performance during dinner. 2 x Half size pork knuckle, 2x 1L beers and one sausage is about 85 euros.

Excellent venue to celebrate a football victory and also for watching other football matches! Proper German beer and traditional food!

We visited this place for dinner after 10 in the night and the outdoor kitchen was closed. Hence sat outside the main restaurant and the service was quick and fast. We had Muncher schnitzel and Salmon with their weissebeer.

The place was active and buzzing and overall we enjoyed it.

Based on a family member's recommendation, we decided to try this place for beer and authentic German food. To our delight, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

And considering the size we only waited 10 mins for our food. The staff were awesome and our Server was great. Highly recommend for a good feed! Great all round beer garden!

Amazing biergarten. Huge with self service German food by different stalls. Augustiner Helles beer was my absolute favourite of all the helles/pilsner. We also ate in the beer Keller cellar hall one evening. Food was amazing. The Keller was the oldest in Munich. Thoroughly reccomend.

Best experience while visiting Munich!! The schnitzel was delicious - easily the best meal I had during my stay in Germany. And I even managed to drink the 1L of bier! Our server was fun & friendly. The atmosphere of this brau haus is like no other. I wish we had these in Australia!!

Good place to get a taste of Bavarian dishes and beer garden vive. Serving portions can be large if you arrive not very hungry.

Phenomenal! A top notch true, authentic, fun and memorable experience going to this excellent and traditional gem of a German Brauhaus! We sat downstairs in their basement seemingly several meters underground. The venue is packed, everyone is singing, cheering, chanting and having fun. The food is absolutely great being super hearty and filling and really flavorful and tasty. The workers are fast, professional, cheeky in a good way, helpful and great as well as being dressed in Lederhosen and Dirndl. Enjoying a couple of Maß with foods here in great company was a 10/10 experience and the place cannot be recommended enough if you want a true German experience on all levels and areas!

Best meal I had in Munich. The pork chop with potatoes were incredible. Beer is 2nd to none. What else could you ask for in Munich?

Sorry! We tried almost all the popular and off the beaten path joints for beer and pork knuckle for the past 16 days….i would say it’s mediocre for our family.

I have many many more photos but can’t post because of privacy. But all in all, despite the crowd, we loved the place. The atmosphere was electric because in 3.5 hours time, it’s gonna be a brand new year!

The server was a bit harried due to the many tables that she had to serve but it’s ok. Nothing major as all of our requests was executed perfectly. No language barrier.

The restaurant was already in full swing when we arrived! There were many people waiting outside, hoping to secure a table or a spot but without reservation, it’s gonna be a long long wait…

I was there two days in a row and had both times a great experience. The waiters were helpful and fast and the Helles beer is one of the best. I liked also the Hefeweizen and the food.

Haxen was very nice but the best of all was the grilled potatoes. It was the best grilled potatoes I had ever. Furthermore, the server was very kind eventhough there were crowded.

Best food & beer & atmosphere in Munich, I want to recommend the Dark Augistiner Beer and Pepper Schnitzel, it was really amazing here.

I would definitely recommend the place to anyone looking to try German delicacy. The food, ambience, and the atmosphere is just perfect for you to feel like eating in Germany. The vibe of the place is the most Bavarian thing you will probably ever experience. We ordered the Jungschweinebraten which is basically roasted pork served with Kartoffel Knödel (potato dumplings) and Rotkohl (red cabbage). We also ordered the Schweinshaxe which is pork knuckle also served with Kartoffel Knödel but this one is served with Sauerkraut (german coleslaw). I can definitely say both of them were amazing! The Schweinebraten was tender and tasty, but I would say the sauce was somewhat bland. The Schweinshaxe’s skin was crispy, with tender and juicy meat inside. My friends said the beer was also good. The price was reasonable to be eating in a place with a lot of history and such atmosphere and also good food. I would recommend you to reserve a table before going to the place as it is always packed, but yes… you can walk in and wait for a table too.

Great place to eat in! A must try when visiting Munich!

I wasn’t expecting such kind of experience of beer. Not doubt Augustine beers are awesomely great. It was very hot day and after traveling a lot, the beer made me feel fresh.
This place is a big garden with full of benches. Location is cool. Easy to be here by bus, tram or even train station is not far. There was a kids park at the corner of this place where your kids can play while you can have beer.
Haven’t got such kind of experience in England. The whole place was full of friends, families and people all around who want to enjoy the beer.
The atmosphere was amazing. Didn’t happy with service where you have to be in queue but local people being served before us. Even I noticed that so Asians facing same thing. There’s a queue for rest of the world but not for locals. Process for beer were fine even the food was not very great but bit over priced.
Anyhow I had very amazing and unforgettable time with friends and love to come back again.

I went for dinner the evening that they had opened the garden so i relly enjoyed the atmosphere.
The food was really delicious and the beer felt fresh.
