Marienkirche Reutlingen

MarienKirche hosts a wonderful Christmas Carol that nicely blends a rich mix of worship songs and powerful Bible readings. The Bible passages and the Songs take you through a ride about the birth of Christ Jesus.
The architecture of the Church building is also awesome 👌. The arches look so beautiful like well arranged banana bunches.
And the members of the congregation are warm and friendly. It seems like a family gathering, grandparents with their kids and grownup grandchildren.
One fun memory is seeing a kid in his twenties, come very early to secure seats for his family and other relatives among the front spaces 😃😃😃. I was proud of that young man when later his relatives came to get their seats👍😍.

It is hard to give a fair review as there are so many wonderful churches in the area, that are as good if not better, but a lower rating wouldn't do this one justice. They kindly provide a laminated history sheet to make the most of your visit, and it is worth looking at to ensure you don't miss something.

The Neue Marienkirchengemeinde (NMK) is a city center dominated by the Marienkirche , which as Reutlinger main church has a great importance beyond the municipal boundaries.

It is characterized by a variety of forms of worshipand church music . About 250 honorary and full-time employees in groups and offers and almost as many members in numerous choirs and instrumental ensembles enrich the community life, which has its central location in the large community center Matthäus-Alber-Haus .
The "New" Marienkirchengemeinde was created in 2004 by the merger of the Leonhards church community with the Marienkirche church. It includes the Reutlinger Old and Oststadt, the Betzenried and the Burgholz to the industrial area In Laisen.

You can go to the top and have a beautiful view. It’s really exhausting though! The number of people who can go up is limited. The inside is also really beautiful. The church is newly renovated.

Most of Reutlingen is picturesque but this awesome Gothic style Church is quite definitely the towering cherry on the city's top. You have not been to Reutlingen if you've not been to Marienkirche

The Lübeck Marienkirche (officially St. Marien zu Lübeck) was built between 1265 and 1351. The Lübeck market and main parish church is located on the highest point of Lübeck's old town island, is part of the Lübeck Old Town UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest brick churches.
