It's a great location to experience marine life. Furthermore, it even portrays the effect of human activities on the environment so that one can learn the consequences as well as remedies to it...

As it portrays marine life, I was expecting Dolphins too... but there are no dolphins...

Must-See in Oberhausen... You can buy Combi-Tickets for Aquapark, Legoland, and so on and save the money...

This place is so nice for people of all ages! My teenagers were thrilled and we, grownups, liked it very much. It’s so well done. It’s a nice experience! And if you pay the photo pass, you get your picture taken and they give you very nice memories at the end that you can download and keep them on your phone!

Such an amazing, fun, interactive and educational outing. The atmosphere is already creared from the entrance with music that transports you to under the sea.

As it is summer holiday, there was an activity booklet for the children. You had to find different stations where you would learn interesting facts and then you are able to use an iron hand operated stamp to tick off the section. The stamps differ between multiple different sea creatures. The facts very interesting and stamping was fun for the children. At the shop they were rewarded with an activity book and a bracelet. Definitely worth a visit during the holidays.

We spent over 2 hours there and could have easily spent more time. The layout, decor, atmosphere, sea life, explanations, interaction stations and staff were top tier.

I would advise to go to the bathroom at the entrance as the nearest bathroom is only in the middle of the 'Rundgang' and then again at the exit. Otherwise you have to turn around and go back against the traffic which might be a bit difficult when there are many people. The bathrooms were clean.

Really had a great time and excited to plan our next visit there.

Nice place with different varieties of fishes. You can blacktip reef shark, star fish, jellyfish, sea horse, small whales, Nemo fish, octopus, orchids, piranha, ray fish, puffer fish, crab, salmon, bluegill, sea otter, swordfish, eel fish, anchovy fish, tetra fish, tortoise axolotl, ray fish etc

Ticket price per person is 21 euros.

As soon as you enter the aquarium it stinks a little, later it will be fine. Its a internal aquarium with well maintained fishes.

You have a free guid in the center of the hall, in each floor who will be explaining about the fishes and their behavior.

Well maintained public restrooms. Resting chairs in every corner of the aquarium. Taking pictures, videos and eating food is allowed.

At the end while you are returning you have toys and gift shop, snack & food shops, vending machine, virtual reality game, resting tables and lift.

You can also leave the kids stroller near the entrance to avoid the traffic.

Interesting for both children and adults. Gets bit crowded on Holidays but we still managed to have fun as a family.

Magical sea world with clear descriptions and Direktion. Great Atmosphäre to chill out. Kids can collect stamp at each Station by answering the questions and get a Shark tooth as small gift. Very recommended for family. ❤

What can I say.... Fantastic... It's far better than the one in Great Yarmouth...it's larger and it has far more sea Animals...which surprised me as Great Yarmouth is by the sea .... Staff are friendly and the animals seem to be well looked after ....10 stars from the Family we all loved it ... I can definitely recommend this establishment.

Despite its small size, the aquarium is very interesting and entertains both young and old. It is well done and I recommend it. I got the tickets bundled with the Lego museum tickets. The tickets can be bought together but used in different days

Great displays of marine life. The large tank is awesome. A fantastic day out for kids. As a diver and environmentalist I was happy to see the good work that the sea life Centre does. I went in the morning to avoid the queues. If you're in the area worth a visit. We must save the oceans!

The whole design of the Sea Life helps people to be close to the ocean animals plus be educated to cherish our nature environment. I highly recommend to visit it with family or friends especially kids as they can have the ocean feeling without being on a beach . Comparing with aquarius in zoos , here it provides more interactions and extremely close view with the ocean animals. I enjoy it a lot !

Nice aquarium, not too big, not too small, but actually liked also the fact that one could enter only with tickets bought online with a certain time slot, to avoid plenty of visitors at once. That's the way to do!

Though it was a bit of wait and tickets are bit expensive, it is worth the experience. I was amazed by the offer and setting. Since it is not a thing you go to everyday, I highly recommend it! Giftshop is over priced though!

Real adventure for those who enjoy sea life. You have the opportunity to follow sea animals in their daily routine. Especially interesting, if you want to discover different species of sea life (2-3 species are allowed to be touched).

The sharks caught me by surprise, a lot of them, a wonderful learning experience for the kids and more fun than I was expecting. Highly recommended

It was great again. We did the behind the scenes tour, and the guide was wonderful. We learned a lot and the kids actually got to feed the fish and sharks! We also were happy, since we went for our son's birthday, he actually got in for free, since it was on his birthday. Super awesome. Especially when combined with legoland discovery center. And lots of lunch locations in the mall of Oberhausen. We do this every summer.
