Marien-Café

Recently had the pleasure of trying what I can say is the best cake I've ever had in Germany. The cake, from Marien café, was an absolute delight from start to finish. The presentation was impeccable, with beautiful, intricate decorations that hinted at the deliciousness to come. The cake itself was incredibly moist and flavorful, with just the right balance of sweetness. Each layer was perfectly baked and complemented by the rich, creamy frosting. Every element of the cake was clearly crafted with care and attention to detail, resulting in a truly indulgent experience. What truly set this cake apart, however, was the unique flavor combination.

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself, this cake is sure to leave you feeling satisfied and delighted. I'll definitely be returning for more in the future!

Really cozy and quiet place located right in the middle of Flensburg. Great coffee and excellent cake.

Definitely worth the visit. Great teas, superb varied breakfast and attentive service. When you get to a place and you spot a table full with police officers on uniform, you know it's good! Plus their menu it's very extensive and even have Toast Hawaii which was so good!

It's a quite cozy place for you and your loved ones to enjoy for a slice of scrumptious cake and a cup of coffee. Building and inside decorations are exceedingly smashing! If the weather is nice in Flensburg, just enjoy outdoor tables. Bon Appetit 👍

I eat there breakfast and cake. It was my best breakfast in my whole 2 years in Germany. Must see on your list when you want to visit Flensburg. Pictures says alot aswell

Exceptional Dekoration is in Part the enchanting power of this space, reflecting society from last century enjoying food as a form of liberation from oppression by scarcity in a post war ambient that extends into our actual time hidden in our subconscious. Enjoy the sweet taste of homemade cakes and similar calorie-bombs with strong coffee and abundant old refurbished furniture. Very friendly service and great products. Don't be late, or you might miss the cake!

What a great place, so lovely, so colorful, cakes are just grand, coffee is good and the atmosphere is a m a z I n g.
We drove the way from Hamburg and this place was our lovely welcome to the city.
Will get there more times in our upcoming visits.

Mostly nice cakes, not the Black Forrest tho... Cosy atmosphere and fun interior, but check your bill, waiter "added" an extra tea and a cake for our big company once.

This is a must place to go for a coffee and a very large piece of fabulous cake.
