Extremely poor organisation at Frankfurt airport with securitas teams operating the luggage controls. Significant queues and delays, slow and rude staff. A real shame.

Extremely rude, untrained, and unprofessional staff in Frankfurt airport. How could someone knows they are in the transit hallway, and checking the air Canada's passenger's documents by looking at a mobile tiny kiosk without any sign to explain their position and mission? it could happens to guess they are there for providing information, right? that's what happened to me, when I asked them a question to find out my gate, the lady started yelling at me, stating that you must provide your passport to me for checking, ok, I gave it to her, I said, would you please explain nicer, and in more polite way? Now, i was traveling with my wife and daughter, but i couldn't find same flight back home due to not buying my ticket at the same time, then she said, this is so strange you are not traveling with your family, when i wanted to start explaining why, the other guy who was a short black guy seating next to her, intervened, saying to me, if you keep talking from now, you wont be able to board. no sense of customer service what so ever. i felt like i am in a third level country for a few second when i was band to speak and defend my right.

I lost my flight because the document checker lady didn't read correctly my visa permit and didn't let me board. When I insisted on my visa being a legal and valid permit to travel, the lady was very dismissive and rude telling me that my visa was not adequate and that I didn't know the rules. I was not let in the flight and I lost it.

I had to go to Lufthansa customer service, call embassies, the Ausländerbehörde and talk to the Bundespolizei for them to confirm that my visa was valid to travel. Lufthansa then talked to the Securitas manager who checked that the lady employee had illegaly stopped me from boarding my flight, but instead of offering any appology, hinted on me having lied and showed a different paper earlier at the checking counter (as if the German government would issue me with two different visas). I was rebooked into another flight and given a hand written right of passage that stated my papers were valid and I should be let in the next flight. When presented this paper to the Securita's guy in charge of the second flight, he was also dismissive and started lecturing me, I had to basically stop his biased discourse and make him read the paper. He then proceed to call his manager and told me after that I was in luck 'I'm going to let you go today!' - mind you, I was in my legal right all along, but it seems like I got lucky!.

Beware of Securitas employees biases, seems like they are not instructed on checking papers correctly but on placing judgments on customers. Lufthansa should stop working with Securitas as this company's bad policies impacts negatively on their service.
