Grünwaldpark

I spend a lot of time in this neighborhood park, it's green, lush, quiet and it offers plenty of options to get in shape.

Every second day during my early morning run and once a week, when I work out with other early morning birds that are as addicted to the benefits of energizing your body in the morning as I am 🤩

The park is not huge but it offers a lot: two large lawns to lay on, a playground, a basketball field and a lot of benches ideal for reading the newspaper in the morning, a lunch with a coworker, or an afternoon coffee break.

Getting here is a breeze, with just an 8-minute stroll from the vibrant Rotkreuzplatz or a quick 3-minute walk from the tram stop.

And, what's really cool...if you fancy a coffee, drink or a snack, you have two kiosks in less than 5 min walking distance. The park is also the ideal start for a walk along the canal to the Nymphenburger Castle.

Oh, and for those moments of urgency – there's a DIXI toilet at your service 😉

Whether you're a local cherishing your neighborhood's charm or a passerby, I highly recommend visiting this enchanting park.

Really good experience

One of our favorite places in the area. The big old trees are great in summer and cool it down. If only there were not so many dogs especially in regards to the open playground there that would really improve the experience.

A nice park to go to with kids: a big and clean playground, lots of green grass to play football or put your blanket on and have a little picknick. I also like the fact that they have left some woods on the edges of the park.

Great playground for little ones and benches for parents to sit. Lots of great coffee shops nearby, so we grabbed a coffee and had a great visit with some families!

great park, it is small, but with a lot of trees and what is best is a mini basketball court!!
