It's a feast for the eye for any car enthusiast! The museum is super rich with cars, engines, motor bikes and a lot of history. It's very organized to walk through but very busy. You need a couple of hours to go through it all and take photos. It is a must see for sure if you are around Munich. The underground is just a few meters away from the museum, super easy to find. You can then take a walk to the park it's so green and tranquil.

Absolutely amazing! If you like BMW, it's heaven! Even if you don't, it is a very beautiful car museum worth visiting. Many engines and motorbikes are also exhibited, which is unique compared to the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche museums (both of which are worth visiting too). The Series 5 room was my favorite, but the thematic rooms are also great! Do not miss it if you are in Munich! I spent 3 hours here, and it was not enough.
It is closed on Mondays!!!

I went to the bmw Museum 6 years ago, and since then, it's got a huge upgrade! There's more cars and the museum's bigger. While the architecture makes you go through the whole museum, just make sure you go to all sections because some are tricky to get to. Overall it's a very great Museum 👍

Definitely worth the visit even if you’re not into cars. There’s two sections to the museum (WELT & MUSUEM).
The WELT is free and has a bunch of new cars, restaurants, gift shop and “campus” for kids.
The actual museum is across the bridge (the building with the cylinders). If you can buy your ticket online (you will still need to wait in line (even in the “fast line” but it does go fast.
There’s a cafe there M1 if you are with family and one person can wait in line the rest can grab a coffee to past the time—if needed, especially with young kids.
The actually museum is well organized and not too crowded, but it was HOT 🥵 so dress in layers.
Afterwards we heading to the “BIKER cafe” in the Welt for a drink and grab a taxi from there.
Time spent there ~ 4 hours or so.
Enjoy!!!

Great set of cars and motorbikes on view from a large range of periods from BMW. We did a relatively quick tour in about just over an hour but we did not stop and read everything. Very nice building and display setup.

From our side, the ticket pricing is okay as for what you can see inside. Of course not everything is inside. For example would be nice to see the gallery of BMW 7s as well as we have seen for 5 series. But still there is plenty to see. Place is popular, good to buy tickets online. Our children liked it a lot. We came by subway.

A fun place for auto enthusiasts. Make sure to enough time in the museum. The place is full of BMW history starting from its motorcycle to racing cars. The architecture of the building is modern and chic. Back in Munich, I will visit the place again.

Very cool experience with plenty of unique exhibits. A great overview of BMWs history both automotive and everything else they’ve contributed to the motoring world. We had tickets in advanced and were there prior to opening time make sure we were first in. By time we left it was getting very busy, I would recommend getting there early to enjoy the cars and have plenty of space to view and appreciate.

Great experience! Nice lighting, great architecture of the building, it was pleasure to stroll around there and view bmw cars and motorbikes ! If you don’t have coins to use your bag storage locker ( coins is the only one option) , ask the stuff, they will help 😀

The sheer size of the place is astonishing. While the “heritage” of the brand may not appeal to everyone coming here, it really shows the developments made in the automotive world. The E60 still takes the crown for the best looking saloon (saloon is the “sedan” equivalent in the UK) ever produced.
Not very expensive to go in and so you might as well go for a quick walk around it while you’re here!

This is a wonderful automotive museum, not just for BMW lovers, but for all genuine automotive enthusiasts. It displays a rich history from all of BMW's lines and also showcases unique concepts and futuristic designs. Entry is relatively cheap starting at just 12€ for general admission and costing a little more if you want a guided tour.

Amazing experience and a must see for car lovers visiting Munich. The building itself is beautiful and the cars and bikes are so amazing. Paid 8EUR to get in and it takes about 1 hrs to see everything but can be done in 40 minutes as well

Parking garage available if go by car. Easy to get tickets at site with no lines in the afternoon. Close to Olympia Park so recommend pairing those two together to walk through the park before or after the museum. Wonderful and interesting exhibits! Warm inside the museum due to the lights.

Lots on display with great cars and bikes from the BMW range. Take a €1 coin to leave your bag in a locker as the security won't let you carry with you. There are plenty of seats and toilets, the air-conditioning was lovely, something for everyone.
