Awesome restaurant and brewery with a decent amount of local craft beer. Food was very tasty, crunchy pork knuckle and juicy burger from matured beef! I would definitely visit this restaurant again!

We used the restaurant for lunch and the service was good, the food was good and they have a nice option to taste 6 of their beers in a little beer platter, we even bought some bottles of beers for take away that were great. Definitely will come back for more .

Discovered that place 2-3 years ago and always stop by when traveling to prague. Great food, really delicious pastry, actually some of the best. The food is traditionally czech and just awesome.
It's not on the main track but definitely worth a short reroute. Highly recommended!

This place throws you back in times of alcohol prohibition. The trumpet music like slow charleston in the background and style of whole restaurant is really interesting. Beer and food was perfect as well.

There is also a lot of space for groups. I really highly recommend this place.

Now that tourists from Russia seem to be gone the place has become much more friendly and somewhat more casual. The lunch I had was really tasty and nicely served. I liked all their beers except for the "polotmavé", which was too "fizzy".

When we first visited we were quite disappointed, but we gave this place a second chance and it paid off. Excellent food. Great beer. And luxurious interior - you would feel like in the 19th century. Highly recommended.

Nice place with excellent beer and food.

Enjoy the atmosphere of the old building (from 1850) in its new look.

Their service is always friendly.

Menu is not gluten-free friendly, but you won’t starve if you are on the g-f diet.

They also have seasonal beers and possibility to buy some beer as a gift.

In a week of driving through small Czech towns this is by far the best Czech food (one of the few places that offer proper Semmelknödel). Beer is also some of the best we had and the interior is nice an authentic middle European pub.

Absolutely excellent food, nice and kind service, beer as to be expected - czech standard. Pity they don't experiment more, IPA was not available but still worth a visit even for a hop head. Good prices as well for both drinks and eats! We enjoyed new years's eve there, but please change the people making music. They played so melancholic I almost had to cry..

A very charismatic place, with history. The owners did not change a thing in the outlook since I guess 19th century (renovated of course, but the look remains the same).

One thing to note - if you are served by younger waiter/waitress you shall not expect the superb service, if the waiter is over 35 years old - then the service is also good (this is according to our own observation).

We loved the freshly-brewed beer and the food wasn't bad either. The hotel is conveniently located on the 3rd floor of the building and is amazingly quiet. Overall the Monopol provides an authentic and all-inclusive drinking, dinining and resting experience for comparatively little money.

Really great place with a wonderful ambience, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, and really really good beer. Slightly more pricey than the average Czech restaurant, but definitely worth it

Simply great ! :-) Delicious food, with variety to choose from the menu, amazing beers (they make their own ones and you can buy bottles to take away) , old retro music from the 20s and wonderful atmosphere. Recommend :-)

The architecture is pure gold. Sitting there gives feeling like being back in time. Service fast and friendly, food above average but could be improved a bit. Last but not least, beer tasty and delicious, drink small beer and try 'em all!

A wide choice of different dishes. Meat. Fish. Sheese. And the atmosphere fit the outlook of the building. Old style but cozy. Every detail have a meaning.. Maybe the best restaurant in town
