My fellow vegetarians, dont skip out on this place. I would 10/10 eat here again. The food was incredible and packed full of flavour. The owner was friendly, kind, and had solid recommendations. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy. Don't miss out!

Highly recommended for food, service and atmosphere. It's an all vegetarian restaurant, heavily inspired by Indian cuisine. The sheer variety of options available made me so happy. Also, the owner is well traveled, friendly and happy to chat with! Loved everything we ordered.

The one and only vegetarian restaurant in Cesky krumlov! I was puzzled by the reviews, but what a nice surprise... I ate very well, the owner is very friendly, and the atmosphere is just great! Encourage them, it's such a great place!

Super tasty vegetarian food , properly spiced , the chefs absolutely nailed the freshness and taste . I highly recommend the Pita , hummus , guac and the chilli burritos ☺We loved the beer , the drinks served , the location oh my god was magical . We met the man who owns this place , David , what not to love about him , the man has travelled the world and we loved interacting with him so much . This place is now a beautiful memory and we can’t wait to come back again here .

We went here twice during our 3-day-trip to Krumlov and I can definitely recommend Laibon! The owner provided blankets outside and was extremely attentive and likeable overall. He also remembered us right away when we came back. The food was delicious and the outside seating area offers a great view of the tower from the opposite bank of the river. Great food, great owner and nice spot!

Very kind and excellent people. The food was so delicious that we came back a second time. It is rare to find vegetarian food as tasty as we found here.
The terrasse is directly next to the river and you have a direct view on the city tower. It was a perfect evening for us!

What a find this place was! We were on a bicycle tour through Austria and the Czech Republic and Český Krumlov was one of our stops along the way. Though Laibon bills itself as a vegetarian restaurant, it's a great place for anyone to go for a beer right down beside the river, regardless of dietary habits. Great beers are the order of the day. We had a a few side orders with our beers and they were so good we decided to stay for dinner. All the food was excellent and the dessert looked and tasted like something from a high end restaurant in Prague rather than an out-of-the-way spot like this. The only downside is that they are (or were), like many places these days, a little understaffed, so service wasn't unusually rapid. But the service *was* great: The guys working there were clearly hustling their butts off to get people served and it's such a nice place to hang out we didn't mind. Top-notch food and drink for everyone at a great spot on the river in a beautiful town. How can you beat that?

Great place for vegetarian dishes, vast assortment of plates. The location is super on the river wth a great view of the town. The owner is very friendly and helpful in picking the ideal plate for your taste, great beer.

This vegetarian restaurant is good and I believe this is the only one in CK. The owner is also a chef and very friendly during our visit. Food tastes are delicious and everything is great. This restaurant also serves non alcoholic beers.

We had an amazing experience at Laibon. The menu was to die for, so many delicious choices. My friends and I settled with the Dahl, Burrito and Buckwheat pancakes and we were not disappointed. It's spiced so very well, and the view at the Moldau is also unbelievably romantic.

Only vegetarian/vegan restaurant in town. Incredibly kind people that speak English well. The food is great and the water is free. Of the three times I went there they gave free dessert twice! You can only pay cash, but it's cheap.

Wonderful location and tasty food. Big selection of veggie dishes.
For maximum taste experience you have to try the Labyrinth dish, this includes most of the dishes. Very friendly and welcoming owner of the restaurant.

Beautiful spot with wide range of vegetarian dishes. The owner will make you feel at home and is really sweet. Prices just like in most places. All the places are nice on this small street, but this was the only restaurant we ended up going to multiple times.

FOOD:
We came back after the first time in our short visit to this town, it was THAT GOOD. The menu offers many vegetarian and vegan options, and many are Czech/Bohemia dishes. My favourite was the Zawinul (buckwheat pancakes filled with a very strong tasting spinach cream.)

LOCATION / Ambiance:
A very cute looking place from the inside and a terras right by the riverside. Most tables have parasols to provide cover from the sun.

PEOPLE:
David is a super fun an friendly guy, his smile and chuckle is contagious. And he’s such a professional: even when it’s absolute chaos with a full house running inside with a sudden rain storm, he hasn’t made any mistakes with anyone around us. He calculates the orders from memory, and every penny is correct. Pretty fast, I’m impressed. In Dutch we’d call him a real ‘Horecatijger’ (cateringtiger).

My only comment would be that you can only pay cash, paying by card is so much nicer for me;)

Fantastic food and service. The labyrinth of tastes is delicious. One suggestion would be to add a little music. Very quiet place. Would create a little atmosphere. Totally recommended.

The food was awesome!! The male staff is super friendly and helpful 🥰. Moreover, we enjoyed the sunshine just next to the river which made us a such beautiful journey.

Arrived in Český Krumlov from Prague for a Christmas break towards the end of a 30-day state of emergency due to COVID-19. I had remembered visiting Laibon when I first came here over twenty years ago and was so pleased to see it was still open.

My partner and I popped our heads in around 3pm and received an effusive welcome from David, the owner. When asked if we would need to book for a 7pm slot, he suggested that we could arrive around 6pm, as most places were still having to close early due to the curfew.

When we arrived, we had the pick of tables and David was an impeccable host. I had a Bernard světlé (light) beer and my partner had a Coke Zero, and we began our meals with hummus and baba ganoush, salad and flatbreads for starters. Delicious!

Between courses, and with another small group having arrived, David chatted to us about what had been happening in the Czech Republic and in Krumlov during the pandemic, while we filled him in on the news from England.

For our mains, we had the pakori and the quesadillas, which were also beautifully prepared and incredibly tasty. More beer and coke, before we finished with buckwheat pancakes, cranberries, apple, cinnamon and cream (to share). So good that, even as carnivores, we're considering skipping meat for Christmas Day and just returning here. Highly recommended!

Laibon is a cozy vegetarian spot nestled in a historic building in Cesky. Their food, deliciously inspired by Indian cuisine, is a real treat. The owner, David, is a gem – well-traveled, funny, and super welcoming. It's a great place to enjoy a tasty meal and have a good chat!

Everything was magical. Starting with the location, view, host and then food. all 5 stars. The hosts spirit was so beautiful. Happy to be there and to serve you the most delicious vegetarian food. The view was the best I’ve ever experienced. Go there for a lovely experience.
