Stunning sight, more credits for being in Most, where all the old town was destructed during Communism era due to minery. The only historic building is this church (and Hněvín), which was transported more than half a mile. Oasis in concrete tidiness.

It's a very beautiful cathedral. Go feel the vibe that comes with knowing that the Cathedral that used to sit on so much coal was literally moved from one point to where it is situated right now.

This late gothic church has been moved to this location from the original which fell part of the surface coal mining in the area. The replacement of the church happened in the year 1975.

What a throphy, not only the church itself, but the journey to save it is magnificent. Fabulous restaurant, very good menu, wonderful gallery of pictures of the church on rails.

Famous building, which was moved to nead kilometer distance. Also you can move up and see good views on different Most sides.

Je konec února, dvanáct nad nulou a svítí slunce. To je přeci na pět hvězdiček a odpolední procházku. Kostel je neprodyšně uzavřený.

Kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie ve starém Mostě je pozdně gotický chrám s jezuitskými malbami a renesančními reliéfy. Proslulost získal především v roce 1975 kdy byl přesunut po kolejích o 841 metrů, aby byl zachráněn z města, kvůli těžbě uhlí. Pěkný kostel rozhodně stojí za návštěvu.

Rozhodně stojí za návštěvu, důkladnou prohlídku zevnitř (i zvenčí).
Kostel nejen zajímavý svou historií nedávnou spojenou se stěhováním celé budovy na jiné místo, ale i historickými souvislostmi. Jde o perlu pozdně gotické architektury s unikátní výzdobou.
