Kafec

We visited Kafec few times already and every single time, the staff is welcoming and attentive. Food is great, especially their herb waffles. Prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend to visit this cafe for a small bite or proper breakfast, also their coffee is great! Will definitely be back. :)

I reserved for 8 people and went for brunch.
The place is quiet and beautiful. The waiter noticed right away that we are English speakers and brought the right menus for us.
Food was brunch perfection.
I only managed to take pic of my dish, but we ordered several different things and everything came together perfectly.

Great place for breakfast/brunch. Waffles are amazing, but if you are not into sweets, there are plenty of savoury options as well.

This was our third trip to Brno. We stayed for two days this time and we were a bit underwhelmed with the food. Kafec was our best meal this trip. It's a small breakfast café with good food, coffee, and tea. The service was extremely good. We had the Royal Breakfast, a side of fried eggs, and a waffle with some toppings. The waffle wasn't hot but still delicious. The ordering style is unique - you're given a plastic-coated menu with markers and you simply mark the items you want. Great idea.

Cost was a bit high but overall you're getting more for your money and it's more quiet than the busy areas. If you're willing to spend a bit more, come here.

Kavec is a bit hidden if you're looking for it. It's not located on a street, rather it's tucked in the middle of a building at street level with a nice courtyard.

Stopped for a quick coffee very early in the morning & was not disappointed. It is located quite near to the train station. The coffees were really nice & affordable. The staff members were smiley & polite. Overall, it was a good experience!

You must try the Cascara Cappuccino! It's more like a cocktail then an normal coffee. Super tasty 😍

The breakfast was very tasty and nicely made.
The coffee was well prepared.
The staff was very fast and very professional and organized.(not so common in Brno)
The prices are very good for the service and the quality offered.
Nice design touches.
No music though.
All and all I would recommend you to visit this place.

If not the best brunch in Brno then one of the best! I’ve visited this place couples of times and I always leave satisfied. Homemade bread, fresh eggs and a good variety of coffee would make your day. Highly recommend to visit Kafec. Bare in mind that they serve brunch until
1pm

Very nice place. Not too easy to find, but worth it.
Service was very good, fast, helpful. Coffee (dropped V60 with Kolumbie Cauca) was excellent. Right temperature, right combination.
The coffee holder was made in Japan, showing they care about the quality.
Breakfast/brunch options are recommend here. They serve a meaningful combination of breakfast elements, egg, waffles, toast, ham, bacon, etc.

Very nice and cosy place, a bit hidden but definitely worth to discover. Big breakfast/brunch menu, you can order your own choices by tick in the menu card on your table. The staff was professional and friendly. I have ordered porridge and coffee, both were delicious. I would like to recommend this lovely place to all of you. Lovely place, English friendly! Beautiful place to enjoy best gluten-free waffles in the town. Every month special offer and tasty coffee you can buy yourself also for your use. They offer to become a vlub member to get better price on coffee.

Fantastic place close to the Market Square, quiet and casual. Food absolutely delicious, highly recommended with good prices. Teas and juices fresh and very tasty. Will definitely go again 👍

Little but hidden, but lovely place. We were probably very lucky to have a seat without booking. Coffee is awesome and waffles were good as well.

A nice cafe down through an archway....both indoor abd outdoor seating. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We're vegetarian and loved the 2 choices of vego waffles. Very big serves. Their coffee was great.
