We had coffee here today and had a great time! I would recommend stopping by if you are nearby. We actually went there to drop off donations we brought with us because this place assists several people and schools in the community. If you want to have a drink and food at a cool place that cares about people this is it! Follow them on social media!

Best place we had (lovely lovely) coffee in Cuba (nov 2018)!
Amazing atmosphere just what you'd expect from its name.
If I'm lucky enough to ever go to Cuba again, I will definitely visit again

A little oasis of calm, greenery and good coffee, with bonus books and games. We had a delicious, simple lunch here of bread, fresh cheese, honey and salsa verde, along with a couple of rounds of Sushi Go.

This little cafe/bookstore is a unique place for Havana. Just at the edge of Vedado, there's lots of diferent quiet seating spots spread around the shop. Good coffee and we got hooked on the super-sweet chocolate croissant. It's an English language bookstore, yet it was busy. Also, the owner allows you to drop off donations (medicine or food or whatever) that they deliver to needy folks in Cuba.

A truely unique and special place! Delicious drinks and snacks you can't find elsewhere at an affordable price. The environment is inclusive, relaxed and welcoming, with little nooks to sit and enjoy among artfully arranged books and outside on the patio. The collection of English-language books is impressive and affordable. One of my essential stops while in Havana!

Very friendly staff who speak English. Apart from being a cafe its a library/book store and they offer various board games too.

Nice, inexpensive place to have some small cups of coffee drinks. They have both a hot and cold drink menu. Lots of magazines and books to read in both Spanish and English. Lots of shady trees to sit under.

Great drinks and funky spot. Staff was super friendly. Just ask if they have your preferred menu items before you get your heart set on anything because they are out of a lot of ingredients. PS - that’s not unique to Cuba Libro.

Best coffee. Slice of western liberal ideation. Young. Hip. Great book selection. I learned alot about the history of USA and Cuba reading books for hours. BEST COFFEE in Havana.

Kind of a kick that google maps is asking for a review of places in Havana, Cuba. Or scary? Anyway what a great English bookstore that is so, so much more. Run by a USA ex-pat the store's shelves are mostly stocked by people who communicate via Facebook or other media avenue about sought after titles requested for donation. The store has a cafe for drinks (coffee, cold drinks). The place is also a gathering site which connects Cuban students, visitors from the world over, Cuban residents. Vitally critical to mention here: they also have ongoing outreach to a women's prison, a clinic, and many other community organizing efforts. They pay staff a living wage. They need and welcome a wide variety of over the counter medications such as Tylenol, hygiene products, bicycle parts: ask for a list before you go, take your donations in bags you can also leave. The store is located a significant distance away from the old town geared for tourists in the harbor, but rather in a mixed use housing and restaurant/store front neighborhood. Please note that I as a male 60 years old and university students...women..felt safe walking and taking cabs day and night. I was advised that property unattended might disappear, but it seemed to me no more so than traveling where else in the US or Latin America, or Europe.

What a nice place with a good vibe! You have to meet Conner and her nice cuban staff. Go drink a Frappucino in this beautiful little paradise while you're in La Havana.
