A little paradise in the middle of the town. Absolutely comfortable rooms, very clean and air-conditioned. Easy access to a enjoyable garden with an overwhelming amount of lovely decorated plants and a nice pool in the center. Although the garden is small there are many little niches where you can sit and relax. But on the top of the list I put the hosts of this hostel: everything Sara and David do they perform it with love for details and they must be able to read thoughts and wishes. We started and ended our trip through Cuba in this hostel and I strongly recommend it to everyone.

Really wonderful¡¡¡¡¡¡ A beautiful house and very good attention directly from the David and Sarita owners who do not treat you as a tourist, more like family, breakfast and different foods make you feel the real taste of food Cuban, and if you take them sitting in the garden of the house sitting among the more exotic plants ... who can say? ... speechless. Only good things I have in my memories of this garden house, so just tell them not to think more is the best place to stay in Holguin at an acceptable price.

We had two lovely nights here. Beautiful secluded tropical garden with a lovely pool. The rooms were set in the gardens, very peaceful and beautifully clean. The hosts were fantastic, nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

One of the best 5 casas visited in my 2 bicycle trips in Cuba! The owners will make your visit the most enjoyable as possible. Rooms are very confortable and breakfast in the courtyard is memorable.

A gem in the heart of Holguin city, Hostal Refugio de Los Reyes, as the name suggests, is fit for royalty, but priced for the modest traveler. The accommodation is simple, but very comfortable and impeccably clean. Rental options are cabin style buildings on the same property as a family of 3 generations. As this is a family property, respectful tourism is essential here. There is a very nice shared pool and outside lounging area. Sara and David are outstanding hosts, who understand hospitality and will cater to your travel needs. Sara is a botanist by profession, and her meticulous work with the plants and trees of the property give the feel that you’re immersed in a microcosm of the Cuban jungle. The food that comes out of Sara and David’s kitchen is among the best prepared in Eastern Cuba, and better than the vast majority of what’s available in hotels and even fancy restaurants. You can’t go wrong requesting the dinner service, and breakfasts are 5-star quality. Book this homestay well in advance, because when the Covid pandemic comes to an end, they’re sure to be full every night.

I proprietari sono persone molto socievoli, sempre disponibili a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Il posto è sempre pulito e molto curato, c'è uno splendido giardino con bellissime piante. La struttura ha anche una piscina dove ci si può rinfrescare nelle ore più calde della giornata. Le stanze sono ben tenute, pulite attrezzate con aria condizionata gestite da un generatore di corrente che non fa mancare mai la l'energia elettrica. La colazio e al mattino è eccellente.

eine super saubere und großräumige Unterkunft mit hervorragenden Gastgebern. Das Frühstück war das beste was wir auf unserer Rundreise hatten, alles so liebevoll angerichtet und serviert im Garten, der ein wirkliches Paradies ist. Sara und David sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir durften das Zimmer sogar bis 22 Uhr benutzen, weil unser Bus erst so spät fuhr. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

Una casa preciosa, los jardines muy lindos y muy bien cuidados, y la atención de los dueños, la mejor, la comida exquisita, con un sabor tropical cubano único, recomiendo los desayunos, lo mejor paran comenzar bien el día. Gracias a David y Sarita. Volveremos.

Wat een oase van rust en gastvrijheid in een hele fijne casa popular. Met gepaste tegenzin hebben we onze rondreis voortgezet en de Casa verlaten. Super gastvrouw en heer

Super Anlage in der Umgebung. Mit liebe geflegter Innengarten. Saubere Einzelräume, und ein tolles Frühstück auf der Terasse. Die Wirtsleute waren hilfbereit und immer ansprechbar.
