Mirador Prendas

We had a very special stay in this outstanding place. Family vibes, you quickly feel at home. The nature is ALL around, you can hear it see it smell it it’s fantastic. The river 15min away walking for a wild experience was great with our 4 years old son. Food is great, too and with such a view. You’re out of the world, into the wild, in a safe place. Thank you!!!

Magical place! A bumpy dirt road leads to a giant tree house, hand made from salvaged logs and boards from the surrounding forest. The owner is very friendly and the workers are super helpful. There is electricity and running water and wifi and spacious comfy rooms. The food is deliciously prepared to order, including platos tipicos and plenty of other choices. Highly recommended to those wanting to get off the beaten path. There are even some small waterfalls within walking distance.

Really nice location, the food is very good with plenty of choices and the rooms are big. The house itself is already a adventure. Such a nice place to stay for a night of 2. 100% recommended.

Great view and friendly people. Interesting wood structure

A hidden gem in the jungles. This place is deep in the woods and the path to it is unpaved rocky road. Don't go there without a 4x4 and DO NOT go after sunset. I made that mistake and found my car going through two hanging bridges which were super scary at night since I wasn't expecting them.

It's a 5 km unpaved stretch with no lights at all so it can get spooky. But the hotel itself is really good with nice delicious food. Have fun and stay safe.

Absolutely amazing. Just go because it is amazing. Keep in mind you'll need a 4x4 car or truck because that road is an adventure (we did it in an old jeep while it was raining and made it with no problem.) They do offer transport should you not have a good car.

There is art hidden in every corner and amazing architecture that was the owner's passion project and you can see the love that was poured into this place. It's a crime that is not more popular.

I highly recommend the canopy adventure they offer around the property because it's super affordable and the guide is really good.

The canopy is great, the food is great, the building is great, the view is unparalleled even on a rainy day. It's just great. GO!

Absolutely lovely and adventurous place to stay! We highly recommend to use a 4WD car or the shuttle they offer. Take enough time to explore the remote tico-jungle: frog-searching, ziplining or just birdwatching from your room window. Too beautiful to describe. Explore yourself

Fabulous views inn a very exotic location with a unique building design meant to resemble a giant treehouse. Loads of wildlife to be seen and howler monkeys to be heard. A very traditional menu with great local cuisine and 'Pura Vida service!

My wife and I loved this rustic location. The birding was great during breakfast!

Beautiful view, fun zip lines.

Schönes Hotel in der Mitte von nirgendwo. Die Anreise auf den letzten sechs Kilometern mutet etwas abenteuerlich an, da zwei Hängebrücken über beide Flußarme eines Flußes zu passieren sind. Danach ist der Weg nur mit hohem Auto passierbar. Die Reise lohnt sich. Rundum das Hotel gibt die Wasserfälle bzw. Kaskaden, zahlreiche Vögel und mehr zu entdecken.

Das Hotel verfügt über ein Restaurant und guten Ausblick auf die Umgebung.
