Food is AMAZING! If you’re craving a good hamburger, get it!! Trust me, I pretty much ate the whole thing 😅

We ate so much good food while in Costa Rica and this restaurant was the BEST!

The food, the atmosphere and the service. All absolutely fantastic. This was the perfect restaurant to end our trip on. We would not hesitate to come back again.

We had an incredible experience having an evening dinner after sunset here. Our meals were delicious, the view was anwesome, and the atmosphere (lighting + ambient music) was relaxing. Friendly service in English too. We highly recommend!
And try that red wine mushroom sauce, so good!

What a great place! Roberto (owner) and Diego (chef) really know their business. Wonderful outdoor terrace with views, great food and service. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful time with 2 of my vegetarian friends having dinner at this location. The view is marvelous. I enjoyed my meal as well as my friends. But my friends plan on offering a couple of more recipes for vegetarian dishes to see if they would prepare them....Will be back for sure...

The team there—Roberto, Diego, and Alanna—were just amazing. They made sure everyone felt welcome, and they were really good about catering to different dietary needs.

Now, the food was out of this world! Diego, the chef, is an absolute wizard in the kitchen. His dishes were like nothing I've ever tasted before—so creative and full of flavor. This place is definitely not for those who like basic food. It's all about pushing the boundaries and creating something truly special.

Honestly, if you're in Costa Rica and you love great food and a welcoming atmosphere, you've got to check this place out. It's a real gem, and I can't wait to go back, tonight!

Wow… what a phenomenal experience! Everything was out of this world. The food tasted absolutely divine. The presentation was unreal. The service was impressive, to say the least. The restaurant’s mascot cat, “Cosita” was such a sweetheart. We will be coming back to find out what’s new on the menu as they said they change it from time to time. Everything is made fresh, in-house. Must try!

Great quality food, lovely spot and very kind waiters. They have very nice juices & a varied menu - also for kids. We were doubting to take another dish, but the waiter kindly warned us that we were over-ordering. He was right. Highly recommended!

So this was my first time here, but my friends' have been and my son wanted a Tomahawk steak. Let's just say everything was perfect. My son, who is a big meat eater finally met his match, but loved every bit of his food. This was my first time eating steak medium (I am a well done type) and it was amazing. My friends love their food and drink as well. We decided, since I am moving a hour away, that we will meet up once a month to enjoy the delicious food, amazing staff, and talented chef.

Food was beautiful and prepared so well. The view is spectacular- we will definitely be back!

We had an amazing meal at El Jardin. The service was excellent and we had great drinks, marvelous starters, outstanding entrees and a yummy dessert. Can’t say enough good things about this place. The lobster bisque was superb and our seafood entrees (dorado with pistachios and dorado with shrimp/drambuie sauce) were the best fish dishes we’ve had in CR so far. It was my husband’s birthday and they brought out a special pineapple flambé that was amazing! If you’re in the area, don’t miss this place.

Hands down best eggs Benedict in my life. Presentation, service, atmosphere all first rate! Every dish we saw was so creative! Can't wait to return!!! Thank you Diego and family.

Chef Diego created a special Christmas dinner for 6 of us tonight. 2 of the plates were vegan and all were spectacular. Thank you to Diego and his lovely wife for making this Christmas 2021 an evening to always remember.

Great neighborhood restaurant with fine service, creative menu and surprisingly artistic presentation. The chef obviously worked at some high end restaurants because he brings that vibe to his dishes. It's out in the country in Santa Eulalia so it's quiet, lots of natural surrounding and incredible views down the valley to downtown Atenas and across the valley to Puriscal high up in the mountains which you can see at night.

El Jardin is THE place to eat when you're in Atenas. I can not praise the chef and staff enough. Our food was beautiful and absolutely delicious. We ate there 3 days in a row (had to have the brunch before we left!). The view is amazing and weather was perfect. Roberto was wonderful and helped us with our reservations. My husband asked them to decorate for my birthday and it was beautiful. Please ask for Roberto when you visit. He speaks a good deal of English and is very accommodating. There is a gathering of Ex-Pats for weekend brunch so it does get busy. This was our first visit to Costa Rica and El Jardin made it all worth while.

I wanted a special lobster dinner for my birthday and this was the perfect place. The meal was great with the best onion rings I have ever had and a little birthday cake with the whole staff singing happy birthday in Spanish, of course.

Small but beautiful and delicious! Good steak and excellent tuna tartare (pictured). We couldn't find parking although we had a reservation, but we phoned and they came out to direct us to a spot on the shoulder that they said was ok to park.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. Incredible food, flavors, atmosphere and service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We can't wait to go back!

Cannot believe we stumbled upon this fledgling of a Michelin star establishment. Discovered fantastic Chilean wine, lobster, tenderloin, and decadent prawn preparation. Wow. It was the highlight of our Costa Rican trip.
