What a beautiful hidden gem!
Me, my boyfriend and friend rented out their chalet for 2 nights initially, but after checking in and realizing how even more beautiful and impressive this place was, we immediately decided to book a third night.
Juan and Nancy were so sweet, kind, generous and caring to all our needs and questions.
This chalet is clearly the best place we’ve stayed in within our 2 weeks trip in Costa Rica. I would leave 11 out of 10 if I could!

Why are there not more reviews about this place? Juan and Nancy are amazing superhosts you can find them on AirBnB as well. Upon arrival, Juan provided us with so much information, we immediately knew we didn't have enough time planned here. Their house is super cute, and very comfortable - the beds were comfy (not too hard and not too soft, definitely not concaved mattresses!) and they provided very warm warm blankets! The kitchen was well equipped for us to make our meals, the WIFI worked perfectly for catching up on work emails (while on vacation) and not to mention, they have hot water and a washer/dryer. It was about a one hour drive to Bajos Del Toro and it was totally worth the drive, I would come back and stay here again - I wish we had more time so we could take up Juan's offer in showing us around their little coffee plantation. HIGHLY recommend!!
