Pura Vida House

The villa is located in a beautiful community with amazing wildlife, plants and homes nearby. Just a few minute golf cart ride away from the Ocean, golf, tennis etc... it is perfectly located for families or a girls/guys trip.

The Villa itself is perfect to host several families or couples very comfortably. We absolutely loved our stay and are already looking at returning to Pura Vida house sometime in the near future. Mani, Sindy and their team were very receptive to all of our needs and wants and made this trip flawless.

Working with Mani to bring 16 women to play pickleball in Costa Rica was seamless. We stayed at two houses in Hacienda Pinilla Beach Resort, just outside of Tamarindo. Mani put together an unforgettable pb excursion with included golf carts & bicycles to access the Beach Club & courts each morning.
We also enjoyed day trips to Tamarindo for an evening catamaran sail, pb play with a local group, surf lessons & dining. Loved Panga & Agua Salada!
The homes were each unique & well appointed with very comfortable beds, white linens & crisp duvets/comforters, blenders, outside grills & more. So looking forward to heading back!

An absolute first class experience from start to finish at the Pura Vida house with Mani and Sindy. The villa is amazing but the whole experience surrounding the villa is what takes this from amazing to extraordinary! The hosts are incredibly friendly, attentive, welcoming, and are always thinking above and beyond regarding how they can make your experience even better.

The villa is extremely clean, well maintained, and perfectly located. The amenities and experience that come with staying there are extremely hard to replicate and find anywhere else. Getting private access to the Beach Club and the surrounding community makes the experience that much better.

You will be immersed in a super friendly community and are just the perfect distance to get to downtown Tamarindo for some of the action.

If you are looking for a much needed getaway to a paradise location and to be taken care of like you are staying at a 5-star hotel, then the Pura Vida house is your spot!

The Pura Vida House is the place to stay if you're visiting Costa Rica!

Earlier this month, we took a team trip to Costa Rica and stayed at the Pura Vida House in Hacienda Pinilla (compliments of the boss). There was 8 of us in total, and the house had plenty or room to spare.

Each day we woke to breakfast outside by the pool, and enjoyed an amazing home-cooked meal right after sunset. Not only did they hook us up with a private chef for the entire week, we also had a personal concierge, which was an awesome addition and a great help in guiding us to the best local activities.

We took a sunset sail (definitely the highlight) a few days into the trip, had a full-fledged adventure day, and rode some UTVs. The activities were super fun, but for me, Hacienda Pinilla took the cake. The beaches were amazing and not crowded at all, and we also had access to a super cool breach club where you can watch surfers tear it up.

We were also only 20 min to Tamarindo. Fortunately, we had a rental car, so we were able to pop over to the town whenever we wanted to. My wife and I went to Dragonfly for dinner on our anniversary (highly recommended). Anyway, do yourself a favor and check out Pura Vida House if you're planning a trip to Costa Rica

Amazing family vacation at Pura Vida House! My stepmom arranged our trip to the Pura Vida house to celebrate a milestone birthday. Eleven family members (adults and kids) flew in from various parts of the USA, met in Costa Rica. The owners graciously arranged transportation, the house was beautiful, clean, spacious. We spent our time playing pickleball with instruction by the awesome pickleball/tennis pro, hanging at the Hacienda Pinella beach club where the food/drinks and views were amazing, taking walks on the beach, watching the surfers and the sunsets, visiting local spots like Lola's, took a surfing lesson, visited the town of Tamarindo, and an adventure day. We packed a lot into one week but it was still the most relaxing vacation. The chef was fantastic - warm, caring personality and amazing food. She went out of her way to accommodate kids and other diet needs (gluten-free). We hope she writes a cookbook please! The kids loved learning pickleball, swimming in the pools at the house and the beach club, jumping in the warm waves, surfing, seeing monkeys every day, and the golf carts. Would def visit again.

WOW! Talk about the most incredible Costa Rica vacation ever! I found Pura Vida House originally on TripAdvisor, and all I can say is that this is the best resort I probably could have booked in all of Costa Rica. The rooms were beautiful, staff was friendly and easy to communicate with as well (I’m not the greatest spanish speaker). Thank you so much to everyone at the Pura Vida House for a wonderful pickleball vacation!

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Pura Vida House. The hosts, Mani, Sindy, and Ileana were fantastic, answering to our every need or want. They planned an itinerary that suited our entire group, recommending only the BEST excursions, restaurants, and beaches in the area. We had amazing pickleball each day on the nearby well maintained courts, even had the chance to play and meet a nice group of local players. As a bonus, the courts were surrounded by lush fruit trees full of curious monkeys that watched us play. We couldn’t have asked for better pros: Kyle Yates, Steve Rose and local pro Sylvain. I will definitely return the Pura Vida House for another pickleball getaway with a BIG side dish of “Pura Vida”! Thanks to all involved that made this an unforgettable week!

What an amazing trip! Both the Pura Vida House, Casa Rebeca, and the entire Top Notch Experience was just that! Top Notch! I went down for a girl's pickleball trip and went in having no earthly idea what to expect, I hadn't been back to Costa Rica in over 20 years, but remembered how much I had loved it. Well whatever expectations I had were blown away. The houses were beautiful as was the neighborhood and all of the amenities like the tennis & pickleball courts, the Beach Club, the bike & golf shops.
But what really made the trip was the personal touch and efforts of Mani to elevate our experience to a 10+. He made great recommendations for extracurricular activities (and we're a PICKY bunch!), all of which were amazing. He was always engaging with us and checking in, his staff was immensely friendly, and we had some incredible pickleball instruction. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a girls/guys trip, family vacation, family reunion, corporate retreat, you won't be disappointed!

PERFECT EXOTIC PICKLEBALL GETAWAY

Pura Vida, located about an hour from the Liberia Airport in Guanacaste, is a beautifully appointed Villa. I spent two weeks in July with DC friends the first week, and then San Diego friends came for the second week. The villa has an opportunity to rent the four bedroom main portion of the villa, the two bedroom portion on the other side of the pool, or both sides for a six bedroom villa. I rented the entire villa for six bedrooms - each has it's own individual private bathroom, and two of those have private outdoor showers. As I noted, there is a pool in the middle. The villa comes with housekeeping, a concierge and a chef. The chef provided breakfast and dinner each day - we thought she was the gem of the villa, as she was superb and was very flexible and creative with some of our high maintenance eaters. Everyone enjoyed the meals and even sought to get recipes before we left. The entire staff of the house was excellent. Unobtrusive, yet very good at what they were responsible for taking care of. It was a well appointed villa, and we had no trouble finding anything that we might need. The staff was also very responsive to requests or maintenance needs. 2-3 hours of pickleball was terrific, and we had access to a terrific pro in Sylvain. He was loved by all and was very knowledgeable and helpful - whether it was drilling us, coaching while we play, or playing with us. It was such a great experience working out with him. I believe everyone came away with a couple of nuggets to improve their games. The concierge, Ileana, was also very knowledgeable and so helpful in keeping us organized and suggesting fun activities. We felt very taken care of at this villa.

I would recommend this place for a pickleball getaway to anyone - I even plan to come back with the same people or new people in the future. Everyone had a wonderful time and have rated it as one of their best vacations ever. That's high praise for this group of people. Thankful to Mani and Sindy for opening their villa to us for this experience, and grateful to all the staff involved in making the trip a huge success. It really was Pura Vida.

DO THIS TRIP. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

I had an INCREDIBLE stay here with my friends for a girls trip! Everyone in the community went out of their way to make sure we all had the best experience. Lets start with the adventures: zip lining, mud baths, hot springs, waterfalls, and water rafting. We had massages from Sea Escapes come to the villa that gave me the best massage of my life (shoutout to Damaris). A yoga instructor visited and gave us a class in the morning. Everything was eco-friendly, like the water filter instead of plastic bottles. Restaurants: We had the private chef, Mita, for one meal a day (may be other options depending on your preference) which was amazing. Then we were greeted by Coco Loco one day, Vida Bowls for acai bowls, and Lola's where they also provided surf lessons and sunset horseback riding! I've never had a trip where every single person went out of their way to make the experience an amazing one.

The layout of the place is beautiful. I have SO much content that we all agreed a 7-day stay would have been better than 5 as we rushed so much in. The outdoor showers make incredible views and peaceful touch with nature. It's pretty sound proof in the rooms and quiet as every night I felt like I was sleeping in the clouds. Very clean and crew comes to clean regularly. A shuttle took us everywhere we needed. There were golf carts to get around to the beach club and private beaches. What more a COVID - safe option as we eliminate all of the people that would be at a resort, private & intimate experience with friends, and a travel nurse that brings our COVID tests before we had to fly back home!

Astounding place to stay. So many amenities and activities. My first trip to CR, but hopefully, not my last. Most definitely would return again to Pura Vida. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Great home away from home. You can stay as active as you want or as chilled as you want. The setting is excellent for your heart’s desire.

Pura Vida House is everything that it is advertised to be. Unbelievable luxury, friendly & professional staff, once-in-a-lifetime excursions & cultural experiences, clean & comfortable accommodations, like a luxury cruise on land. I would recommend Pura Vida House to anyone and everyone.

Fabulous week at The Pura Vida House in Costa Rica. The accommodations, the excursions and the people added with the pickleball lessons daily from Kyle Yates with Silvan and Steve Rose all made the week an incredible experience. Can't wait to go back!!!
