Mirador Osa

A very quiet place by the road on Osa Peninsula. The restaurant serves really delicious food. The owner takes care of the guests and assists them with choices. I really recommend the homemade hot sauce! The ice coffee makes a perfect beverage in the afternoon. Pura vida!

Oh, what a small gem we found today! We only stopped for lunch, which was great, but also got to see a couple of toucans and macaws up close. Friendly people here. Lovely garden. Almost changed our plans to stay for the night.

The food, smoothies, and coffee here were amazing and the staff was very polite. I sat upstairs and watched the amazing view of the ocean and valley with all different kinds of wildlife. I would not hesitate to eat or stay here, don’t pass this spot up!

Thanks to the owner for the great pit stop. Everything we tried was awesome and The owner, who was really cool, got on his motorcycle and chased us up the mountain to return my hat and expensive sunglasses that i left on the counter.....Make this place your must stop on the way down the Osa.

The view at this place is amazing. It's the perfect place for a stop or to stay. The owner was very kind and helped us find toucans.

The owner is very personable. Value for money is absolutely right. The food (typical Costa Rican) was very good. The facility looks beautiful. Even during a short stay we could see toucans.

Had an amazing stay at the mirador osa. The cabinas were clean, comfy, and the free breakfast was great. The bar is very fun at night, with good music and dance. It's located at a beautiful viewpoint on the peninsula, with views on both sides, to the ocean and into the valley. Wilbert and the rest of his staff are absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to help me out with anything I needed, including day trips and other recommendations in the area. Toucans, scarlet macaws, and fiery billed aracari's came every morning and every evening! Will definitely be coming back here! Thanks Mirador Osa!

One of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica. The view and wildlife are stunning. Food is SO good, prepared with love and care. Don t miss this spot : tucans, hummingbirds, and wonderful trees/plants !

Excellent food. Really glad we stopped. New ownership: Wilbert is a well spoken and kind host and his mom is an amazing cook! The place has a great pool and nice cabins. Would definitely stay here had we known about it prior to our arrival. Stop and check it out!

Very tasty food, and we saw a few tucans! Highly recommended

We stopped in for breakfast on our travels. We are so happy we found this little gem! The food (casado, pancakes, French toast, smoothies) was delicious and fresh. The owner is super friendly and his family and staff are all so accomodating and lovely. We look forward to coming back next time we are in Costa Rica (but next time we will plan to stay for a few nights). Spectacular views. We highly recommend Mirador Osa.

We just made a stop for a coffee but the view was beautiful and the people so nice. The property is very well maintained and we saw many birds during our short visit.

Stopped off for lunch on the way to Corcovado and so glad we did.
The food was really good and great value.
What really made our visit special was the owners hospitality and also the wildlife, birds and also the view was incredible.
The cabins looked beautiful but we didn't stay there.

We had a great stay at Wilbert and his mom! They were super friendly brewing us some fresh coffee and offering a place to stay for our car with rooftop tent (great view over Golfo Dulce).
We returned then for dinner and they were cooling freshly exactly what we wanted to have - everything was really fresh and tasty! Highly recommended :)

The restaurant is very clean, and the staff extremely friendly. We ordered batidos, coffee, and burgers to go. All of the food was freshly made. The batidos were made with fresh fruit and were really freshing in the heat. The burgers had toasted buns with a good sized beefy patty. This is a great place to stop on the to or from Puerto Jiminez.

Very lovely place. While having some delicious coffee and wonderful fresh juice, we enjoyed the stunning view from the panorama terrasse. There is quite a lot of wildlife to spot, especially toucans.

We were here for a lunch. It was perfect. Nice view. Bob, the dog, is super cute.

Little choices but good food. The owner was very nice with us. Very nice views! If he could cut some trees it would be even better, especially across the street. We saw toucans, large parrots and all kinds of other small birds. They have small cabins that seem nice. Nice pool!

Hidden little gem. Stunning views, good food, and nice rooms with A/C! Short 3km hike to a spectacular beach tucked in a lagoon…warm, calm water with little to no people. Will the owner of the place is super accommodating and helpful.
