Explore Limón

A lovely Park where there is a bunch of Things to do. They over History and touristy Things. As well as a lovely playground for Kids and Kind of an outdoor Gym for Adults. And everything in a secured area right at the beach. Highly recommend.

I almost hate to say good things. The best part of Limón is that it's a sleepy little port. I'd hate to see it turn into another Rowatan. Great stop on any cruise. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

If you don't get the excursion you want, there's plenty of opportunity to book locally as well.

We were on Celebrity Constellation and took Sergio’s tour in Jan 31st. Sergio is very knowledgeable and took us around the different attractions of Limon while explaining to us the history of the sites. We were very impressed with him, he is a true professional and has a good grasp of history, geography and the social conditions of the place. Highly recommend this tour.

We had such an informative walking tour around Puerto Limon with Sergio! We walked from the port, viewed the historic architecture, learned about the banana industry and ended at the interestingly built catholic cathedral. We highly recommend this tour of Puerto Limon!

I didn't knew what to expect before I step foot inside Costa Rica. Limon has very friendly people who I enjoy speaking too. I would like to add the Costa Rica is a third world country, but it is on the emerging edge of becoming a first world nation, with more supports from outside sources to help further developed this beautiful country into a first world nation. While still preserving the natural scenery.

The best tour out of all the countries I’ve been to. Sergio is so knowledgeable about the city of limón and the country as a whole. Sergio and everyone else in the city was so nice and welcoming. Had amazing food, and got to see the beauty of the rainforest. This was a great experience.

Very informative tour. Excellent english and a great way to explore the artistic side limon. Highly suggested. The tour is free but its nice to drop some coin as a tip for their insightful look at this Caribbean city

Wow. We drove up to Limon (easy bus access from points south) because is was pouring rain with no end in sight. Looking for a museum or way to explore the local culture, Explore Limon's walking tour of the town caught my eye immediately. By donation, the tour exposes Limon and Costa Rica you may not have seen or thought of before. Our guide, Sergio, was bilingual and was well versed in the rich story of Limon. It is a fascinating tale and the layout and texture of this port town are easily visible on this walking tour. NOTE: GOOGLE, this is NOT a museum.

Limón, en su cantón central, posee lugares maravillosos, su gente, los locales comerciales son encantadores. Personalmente no conocía el Parque Vargas y alrededores .... el fin de semana pasado estuve ahí y me sentí como en las calles de Cartagena, Colombia....
