Un trato increíble por parte de la camarera, no tenía cambio para darnos la vuelta y nos invitó a comer! Nos dijo: “así se llevan un buen recuerdo de Costa Rica”. Y tanto que nos lo llevamos, muchísimas gracias!!!

This place was a nice surprise. We were hungry while traveling and decided to stop without checking previous reviews. Waitress only speaks Spanish but she is very patient. There is no menu, they only have few dishes available. Food we had at the soda was good, portions generous and price low. I had olla de carne that was huge, tasty and full of meat (5*). My husband had the pescado en escabeche and the escabeche sauce was super good but the mackerel was a bit dry (4*) We also bought a cheese empanada for take out and it was big but not good (1 1/2*) so I would suggest to stick with their warm dishes.
