The mega super is awesome. Not for its food or people, just for its irony. The entire store is about as "mega" as my garage, and is as "super" as a gas station grocery store. And not the good kind like a Racetrac or QT. Like a little country store. But ... for some reason... it's still awesome, and I don' t know why. Maybe it's the fact that deodorant is behind locked glass and you have to ask someone with a key to get it for you. Or maybe it's because 50% of the store is laundry detergent. I don't know. But it's a definite "don't miss" in Golfito. The prices are actually reasonable. So, if you're in port, go here to get toiletries and essentials.
