Naans & Curries - An Ethnic Indian Restaurant

Beautiful place! Food was good, but expensive. I ate the samosa appetizer and coconut flan dessert with a glass of win. My bill was over $45 US dollars.

Great food and service. The ambience looks good if you prefer outdoor cuisine. Loved the food. The quantity was overwhelming and curries could easily serve two people. Overall, great food, service and ambience. Highly recommend.

We were traveling through and were in San Jose. This place was recommended by multiple people.

Food -
We had dinner and food was excellent. We ordered multiple vege dishes and they were all excellent. The Paneer Kadhi and the Palak Paneer were both well made. Hard to imagine we were in Costa Rica.

Decor - was tastefully done and sophisticated.

Service - was awesome.

Will recommend to anyone in the area and want to try Indian food.

What a tasty experience! We were craving some Indian Food after watching "The Hundred-Foot Journey" and this was the first place that popped up after a quick google search. It had great reviews so we were keen to check it out. The whole experience was wonderful from start to end. We were greeted and taken care of extremely well by the staff. Service was outstanding thanks to Amrit! The food was so authentic and really delicious!!! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very traditional. Will definitely be returning if we ever come back to San Jose. Thanks again for a great meal and evening :)

If you're craving Indian food with above par service then think no more. My stop in San Jose blew my expectations away. Definitely would stop by again.

DELISH FOOD!! Came here twice during my trip to costa rica. The food is amazing and the staff is welcoming and very attentive. I highly recommend the salmon tandoori and the coconut basmati rice. They have many different types of naans, curries, and rice.

My table of 4 sampled 8 dishes and they were all incredibly succulent and savory. I’ve had good Indian food before, but this is a step above.

Kapil, the honorable owner, along with the staff - Vikram, Vera, and Denise always ensure they walk you through options available on the menu based on your preferences and then make the time to carefully have your order prepared to perfection, accounting for minor adjustments you might ask for in terms of levels of spice or salt or oil in the preparation.

So good. We had the veggie samosas, chicken Tikka Masala and the coconut stuffed Naan. We ordered the Tikka masala with medium heat which was perfect. Everything was well prepared as were the three chutneys they brought to the table. The extra one, the spicey, was scotch bonnet hot.

This is a place to bring a crowd so that you can share dishes. There were many on the menu that I wanted to try.

I never seem to get photos of the actual meals because I become entranced when they arrive. Ah well.

Passed around checking the menu and since that moment the service from the lady in service was extraordinary. Nice smile and answered my questions at the moment. As a result I chose to follow one of her recommendations, was espectacular. Came specifically for the Gulab Jamun, huge memories it brought back from my friends in India. 😁🤝 thanks for the service and the experience. Keep the hard work guys!

Food was really good! They have lot of options in the menu. I ordered methi malai chicken and dal makhani with butter naan , Coconut basmati rice, raita. Quantity was really good . I love it 😻

Delicious curry’s! Tried the chicken tikka masala and the beef curry. Great portions and quality chicken/beef. The garlic Naan bread was the best I’ve had. The basmati rice is extra but a great single add on to have with 2-3 curry dishes.

OMG! If you love Indian food, you'll love Naans & Curries! The service is wonderful and the outdoor seating area was fun. Beautiful area. We highly recommend the Tikka Masala!
