Los Balcones - Hostal Caliyaco

We stayed here back in april. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and gave us great tips for activities nearby.
The location is perfect. Nearby all the great waterfalls (easily accessible by bus or on foot!) and rivers.
We met the neighbors, ate local fruit, drank lots of coffee and explored the beautiful nature surrounding Mocoa.
We stayed here for a week and still wanted to stay longer, but due to my almost expired visa we had to cross the border to Ecuador.
Thank you again for the amazing stay Carlos. We hope to come back some day.

A wonderful place to stay surrender by a lot of nature and birds. The owner and his family are very friendly, they want to make you feel home and want to be sure you have everything you need.

In the kitchen, there is everything you need to cook. The room was cleaned and we didn’t need a fan, the night was cool enough. There is also a balcony where you can chill when rain is coming.

We had also the possibility to hang our hammock to chill and listen the birds.

It is a beautiful house right besides the amazon. Beautiful rain forest, with an amazing view in front of the house. There are several lakes and waterfalls close by where you can easily access.

The owner, Luis Carlos, is a wonderful host. Although its a short stay, he and his family welcomed me with his heart! He is always there checking and asking me if I need anything. I feel like home staying in his house. If you get to stop by Mocoa, this is the best pleace to stay to enjoy the nature and experience the local life!!!

Muy recomendado para moto viajeros, muy amables las personas que atienden, el baño es compartido, las camas son de lo mejor.

Los propietarios fueron supremamente amables y atentos a todas nuestras necesidades. Te ofrecen servicio de cocina si así lo requieres. Las habitaciones son sencillas, con cama doble y ventilador. Cerca al hostal de encuentra un río al que puedes llegar a pie en 5 minutos.

Lugar tranquilo. Dueños fantásticos!

Maravilloso lugar

Es una excelente opción para quienes quieran estar un par de días en Putumayo, Carlos y su esposa son los mejores anfitriones, se vive un ambiente de familia y trabajo en equipo, las habitaciones son muy comodas, además esta muy cerca a la entrada de la cascada del fin del mundo y mocoa. ¡Recomendado!

Really nice family and people. Amazing service. Cute place away from the city, but a bit far if you wanna be in town. Good internet to work online. The only inconvenient are the dogs barking all night, and they don't let you sleep. Also I had a bitter taste because they charged me twice the room price to have someone in my own bedroom...
