This is for sure the WORST post office I've been to in my entire life: the operating hours are ridiculous (just 2 hours per day, from 13:00 to 15:00) and to boot, the lady working there arrives late (almost 13:30, I know because I was there waiting for her). To top it off, she is rude and unhelpful: I needed to send a parcel to Santiago but all she could tell me is that "her" branch does not accept packages (despite posters in the walls and at the door saying exactly the opposite, see my pictures). I tried to reason with her, but no can do. I then called the Correos Chile call center and they told me it was a 3rd party branch ("terceirizada", in Spanish) and that it could do whatever it pleases and they could do absolutely nothing, much to the glee of the local lady. I explained that I called them yesterday to make sure that this branch would be able to accept my parcel and they confirmed it, but again she said she could do nothing, and when I started to complain, she hang the phone on me(!!).

So I wasted a day waiting for the post office to open so I could send my parcel, only to be mistreated. I recommend you do not waste yours and take your business elsewhere even if it means a trip to another city (preferably NOT to Correos Chile, because they are at the very least totally incompetent for giving incorrect information and for not supervising their 3rd party branches, to say nothing of the horrible customer service.

I hope they privatize Correos Chile as soon as possible.

Estoy seguro, esta es la PEOR oficina de correos en la que he estado en toda mi vida: las horas de funcionamiento son ridículas (solo 2 horas por día, de 13:00 a 15:00) y, para empezar, la señora que trabaja allí llega tarde ( casi a las 13:30, lo sé porque yo estaba allí esperándola. Para colmo, es grosera e inútil: necesitaba enviar un paquete a Santiago, pero todo lo que podía decirme es que la sucursal "de ella" no acepta paquetes (a pesar de los carteles y señales en las paredes y en la puerta que dicen exactamente lo contrario. ver mis fotos). Intenté razonar con ella, pero ella fue intransigente.

Luego llamé al centro de atención telefónica de Correos Chile y me dijeron que era una sucursal de terceros ("terceirizada", en español) y que podía hacer lo que quisiera y no podían hacer absolutamente nada, para alegría de la señora local.

Les expliqué que los llamé ayer para asegurarme de que esta sucursal podría aceptar mi paquete y lo confirmaron, pero una vez más dijo que no podía hacer nada, y cuando empecé a quejarme, ¡me colgó el teléfono (! ).

Así que perdí un día esperando a que se abriera la oficina de correos para poder enviar mi paquete, solo para ser maltratado. Te recomiendo que no desperdicies el tuyo y lleves tu negocio a otra parte, incluso si eso significa un viaje a otra ciudad (preferiblemente NO a Correos Chile, porque al menos son totalmente incompetentes para proporcionar información incorrecta y para no supervisar sus sucursales de terceros). Por no decir nada del horrible servicio al cliente.

Espero que privaticen Correos Chile lo antes posible.
