Regency Variety & Gift Centre

This is a variety store that also has a dry cleaning service, and full Canada Post office.

The store was clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and they had fair prices. I used both their Post office, and the variety counter.

Very impressed, good job all, I will definitely come back here.

Came here to pick up Canada Post parcel, hours listed on the door and the pick up slip is 8:30pm closing time. Got here at 8:19 and the door was locked. Was outside with another lady also here to pick up her parcel. We saw someone inside and we gently knock on the window, she clearly hears us but avoids eye contact and pretends to be deaf. If you want to make your own hours don’t operate a Canada post office!

Don't come here on the weekend. The staff are very nice on the weekdays but when I tried to purchase stamps on the weekend, the lady was extremely rude and almost sold me the wrong stamps. When I told her the ones I wanted only came in a 6 pack, she said no Canadian stamps came in 6 pack (which is not true). I gave her the benefit of the doubt and stayed patient with her as she looked for the ones I wanted. Then when I paid with my credit card, she started yelling at me for paying with an Amex, after the payment was approved and said no convenience stores take Amex and she needed to charge me an extra 50cents. So I told her go ahead, i dont mind but I always used Amex at the post office inside the convenience store when I came on weekdays. She kept admonishing me for using Amex even tho I told her to just charge me. I looked around for a "payments accepted sign" and there're none so I suggested perhaps to put up a sign to let other customers know in the future. I wouldn't have used Amex if asked me or told me prior to payment they don't accept it. Very poor experience. again only on the weekend.

Don’t go there for alterations, the woman will ruin your cloth.

what a sneak people. Don't even rent U HAUL from here. They over charge people. When I pick up, it wasnt even F and they consider as F. Also when I drop off, I made same as when I pick up, They think this is 1/8. Ridiculous!

Call prior to going to this Canada post, hours said open, arrived with large package and was closed.

Do not buy your lottery tickets from this store. I overheard the lady who works there getting in an argument with a customer. He was upset as he knew he had 2 winning tickets. The lady said there was only one. I pre check my tickets at home in advance. So I knew all my tickets were winners. She tried the same stunt on me a different day. She is a crook. Watch out!
