I'm a frequent online shopper. I typically buy most things online for delivery. Since Covid, I’ve become very comfortable shopping online. I typically avoid big box stores because they’re less “convenient.”

However, I’m giving this Toys"R"Us location in Thornhill a 5-star review. What started as an online shopping trip to purchase a new bike for one child turned into a multi-trip affair because of the service, convenience, and toy selection at this location.

First, a huge props to the online service chat team, whom I reached out to initially because I saw a lack of inventory online and “price” discrepancies in shipping costs. They were quick to respond and made a sincere effort to help me, and eventually, by searching the nearest store inventory using their available tools and methods, they were able to locate the nearest location with inventory.

Next, big props to John and David, who were helpful in providing service and support answering my questions.

Additionally, a huge thank you to David, who went above and beyond to build my little guys’ bike on the same day. I know it’s not the norm, and I wasn’t expecting the offer, but you offered it, which was sincerely appreciated. You made a little kid’s day!

Lastly, I’ll leave off with this: This Toys”R”Us location does a great job demonstrating a Big box store doing it right. Amazon and other online toy shopping experiences don’t compare to the wide selection and quality of toys available at this Thornhill location. This location is HUGE and has a lot of inventory. Parking is plentiful, and the inside conditions were clean and bright, and the displays were reasonably organized. I’ll definitely be returning for future shopping experiences.

I had a very good experience at this Toys R Us location this past weekend. Ellada went above and beyond helping me with a gift on my best friend's baby registry. I'm very appreciative and would definitely shop there again!

We went over to look for a high chair for our little one, and we were able to find the most suitable seat to start his solid feeding. That is thanks to Moena, who had been so helpful in choosing age appropriate baby essentials and who had been the most outstanding in showing us the best deal. In addition, her exceptional expertise about the matter taught us of the things to consider in buying items to be ultimately useful. On the whole, it was definitely a worthwhile and delightful experience.

Moena was extremely helpful and patient with all our questions about the stroller, car seat, the bed and any other products that we were looking for. She is a great help to choose the best options available at Toys R Us.

My granddaughter's car seat was becoming too tight for her so decided to buy a new one. There were so many to choose from until Moena approached us and educated us about how to pick the correct one that would last her for years. Great experience at this location! Moena and Shelly were very knowledgeable about their products. They were extremely helpful and patient when answering all of our questions. Just popped in on my lunch break to pick up a toy for my daughter for Christmas. I didn't have much time so I asked one of the associates, Ana who was working at the front. She told me they were all sold out as it is a hot item this year, but she went above and beyond to contact the store manager to double check. Turns out they had just received a shipment that morning. The manager brought me the full box to the front and gave me one of the items!

The staff are so good. Moena helped us alot to select the right product. We did not have experience as this is our first baby, but she discussed with us about different travel systems ups and downs so we could select the right one.

This is the place for all things baby! Walked in today just to start looking around being 4 months along and was greeted by Farah who set me up with a registry. She was very gracious and shared my excitement for the little ones arrival. I was given a scanner and time to walk around the store and afterwards left with a bag of goodies and samples!

I appreciated the customer service from the store manager, Bhavin. I wanted to do a refund/exchange but one of the receipts was missing during the original transaction and he looked it up in the system in the back office tracing it back to my credit card.
