Bathurst Village Market

Usually come here for the cake slices but also decided to try the hot food items and was very happy with what I tried. No idea what it's called - just pointed to it and they told me it's pork. Also tried apple pancake which was yummy and I tried sirniki for the first time. I paired it with strawberry jam from home and it was really yummy. They price everything by weight in the hot food section thought it was priced well and reasonably :)

From my experience the stuff is always friendly. Produce section is very small, but it's not their specialty. Prices are reasonable. Recommended!

Very excellent selection of ethnic foods!

It was nice but too crowded for covid times. They have a pretty good variety of Russian food. The cake section has a good selection and the prices are very good.

This was the only place open on Christmas day. Great selection and everything looked fresh. A couple of hard working staffers were seen around the store. I enjoyed the experience. I recommend!

Great variety of European cooked food. Try chicken shishkebab.
If you are into deserts you are in luck here. We tried most of the cakes and all are amazing.
Our last purchase was Easter kulich and it did not disappoint.

High quality Eastern European market with competitive prices.

There's a hot foods/prepared salads section, smoked fish/deli meats and a cheese counter as well.

The bakery section is excellent with baked goods that look beautiful and in my experience, have been consistently of high quality.

Very fond of the deli meat and fish section... if you ever want $150/100g Russian caviar, you can buy it here.

Good overall store layout that doesn't feel crowded. This is an excellent neighbourhood style grocery store that's well worth visiting.

My new favorite store. Was like going on a trip to Moscow. All the ladies are beautiful, helpful and pure Russian. What a fantastic store!

I always get their Brioche bread, Baklava, their cheesecakes/cakes, and their other baked goods. Everything is very delicious here and the quality is 💯. Inflation prices is worth it here because the portion of their baked goods are huge and fresh.

Good enough store. Lots of deli and some native foods from Eastern Europe. Prices are more or less reasonable.

Visited the store this past Saturday. Very grateful for a wonderful service at the prepared food counter. Need to acknowledge the staff at the cash register - always polite, professional, welcoming. Always have a good experience.

This place is unique. The food is fresh and the variety is amazing. Stock levels are nice, if you go there for a particular thing, if they carry it they have it. Staff is kind and polite. It feels like family. I go there once a month all the way from downtown using TTC. That's how much they are worth it

They are fired the stuff who was completely rude to everyone. That’s good. And I want the owner of the store promote women who works in the section of “cooked food” or “food ready to go” where you sell cooked food. She was working today in an orange t-shirt - she is the best employee ever, always smiling no matter what’s going on in her live.
