Famijoy Supermarket

Finally an Asian grocery store in Oakville! This place has all the essentials without having to travel farther to Mississauga. Although it is a bit pricier compared to others, the prices are still decent! The store is definitely marketed towards a fancier demographic, but I like all the options they have for diverse flavours and products! Vegans and vegetarians will love the bulk options for tofu (4 blocks in one) and tofu nuggets they sell as well. Lots of wonderful plastic free produce which is awesome to see! They even have bulk bean sprouts! There are hot tables located on the right hand side, wasn't sure if any were vegan friendly. All in all, staff was friendly and helpful and I will definitely return in the future!

To me, this is the best Asian supermarket in the whole west Toronto and Hamilton area. They have very yummy stuff I haven't seen in other places, such as the frozen Pekin style Duck they sell (pic attached). Also, the staff who has helped us so far has been friendly and helpful. I go to this supermarket as much as I can now that I live a little further, but I used to go every week. I highly recommend to pay a visit here.
Ps: they sell small mochi packets, they are solo good!!

Finally a Korean market in Oakville, so exciting! I have always had to go to Mississauga or Toronto and it's about time we got one here. I have been searching for months for these almonds and I was pleasantly surprised to find them here. Will definitely be making this a regular stop.

Great store with a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing products! I go here mainly to buy the fresh fruits and vegetables because they are so much better quality than other stores. They also make the best lemon, mushroom and sesame chicken. I recommend famijoy to everyone!

We were blown away by the custard filled fish 'pies' and the way each one was so carefully and conscientiously prepared. The guy serving them took great care to cook them perfectly. It was the most amazing $2 snack we've ever had.

They have absolutely amazing selection of all the Asian groceries.

Very clean and decent selection. It's obviously not as big as like T&T or something but that kind of selection will come with time and as the store gets busier, it's not fair to compare a long standing nationwide chain with a smaller place like this. The prices are good too. The girl at the cash register was really friendly. I was impressed by the selection of fruits and veggies there. Everything looked fresh! So glad to have a Chinese grocery store closer to the suburban areas.

Clean and bright, very welcoming. Prices are very comparable (maybe even better) than other Asian grocery stores in Mississauga. Picked up some vegetables and fruits, they were all fresh and good quality. Pea shoots are tricky and hard to find good ones, but we're pleasantly surprised by how good they were, so I went next day to pick up more. I have not purchased meat or bakery items yet and would love to try soon. It is a relatively small store so you might not find everything you need there (especially popular beverages, snacks etc), but you should find what you need to cook a good meal. And I found some unique snacks that I didn't see elsewhere. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I went at 5:00pm-ish and it was not very busy, so everyone were able to social distance.

Excellent Chinese supermarket. They really managed to fit everything you need in a smaller area, as well as a small number of unexpected but high quality products.

Very well curated selection overall and I was very satisfied with all the items I purchased here. Prepared foods were great, among the best I've eaten from a supermarket.

The two young men who work at the Bubble Tea counter consistently provide top-notch, friendly service. I have been visiting once or twice per week over the past few months, and they now know my order without me even having to say it. The rest of the store is organized, clean, and boasts fair prices.

Clean and good selection for a smaller store. It has most items I need for my family so it saves me a trip into Mississauga. The regular prices are comparable to non-sale prices at Mississauga stores. The only thing I miss about the hot table/kitchen section is a BBQ counter but it does have bubble tea.

Great produce selection with. Same with seafood. They have a hot table and sushi. I love going to this store.

Love coming to this small yet excellent grocery store! They always have the best selection of Chinese vegetables for me and I think the prices are comparable to other stores like T&T. No complaints!

This Supermarket is beautifully well stocked and clean there is a fish stall as well the staff are very helpful it is situated where No Frills used to be in Oakville opposite the Go Station and the DM V I guarantee you once you visit you will return

Very good bubble tea, hot table food looks delicious and fresh and the counter was busy. Im excited to have stumbled here. Will definitely come back when I need to pick up some of my Asian staples

Great selection of Asian foods in a sparkly clean store. Fresh, frozen, canned and dry. They have it all. Plus 3 hot tables stocked with freshly cooked food by 11 am 7 days per week. My favourite was the dim sum.

Various food options and they carry many things asian (things you wouldnt find at other grocery stores such as miso paste), the ready food section was very impressive, complete with a bubble tea section, sushi and freshly made taiyaki.

There was long outstanding need for a Asian supermarket in Oakville. Oakvillians are glad, in fact, very very happy to see that Famijoy Supermarket had fulfilled that vacuum. Shop is comparatively smaller but everything was super clean and tidy. The staff and the managers did a fantastic job managing the crowd flocked on the opening day with every pendemic precaution respected. The team members, managers, supervisors and the chefs were helpful and friendly. Fresh durians, jackfruit, and papaya were among greate produce selection. The store is complete with sushi, prepared food, seafood and fish, meat and bakery departments.
