COPPINS CORNERS DINER

The best breakfast ever. Every part was special. The home fries tasted great not greasy. Bacon, sausage, ham all perfectly cooked. The best part was the pancakes. This place is worth the drive to Coppins Corners. But get there early because this mom and pop shop restaurant closes at 2pm.

cute little diner on the way! Its located in the shell bunk. Easy to miss this place. they have a closed patio. ample seating place.. Excellent customer service. Good Food! Don’t miss to eat here!! The orange juice is great! Egg-celent .. !! Very nominal price.

An early morning visit to Clarington Vet had me in search of a good diner. The vet tech said nothing around. I beg to differ. Not 9 minutes away is Coppins Corner Diner attached to the Shell station. If this isn’t small town I don’t know what is. This place had a great diner menu with all the classics but loads of specials including homemade pies and cakes. The sausage were split on my breakfast which is always good for brownie points. All eggs were cooked to perfection. Service is very friendly as you should come to hope for in a small town diner.

Homemade food, clean and tasty! Stuffed peppers are to die for. Great people on top! And they even made me a cake out of their awesome Apfelstrudel!

What an amazing hidden gem! Great little restaurant tucked away in a non assuming building with a beautiful outside seating area. The food was great, the service was even better! I will definitely stop here next time I am back this way.

I recently called ahead for a group of 15 people, we were offered a buffet. It was ready when we showed up with plenty of food and coffee! Owners were very friendly and easy to coordinate with.

I've passed by a few times. I love little diners. Today was our first visit. Cute and clean inside. It isn't a large dining room. There is a lovely, large covered patio and that's where we sat.

My breakfast was delicious. To my mind, there are a few things that elevate a regular breakfast. Coppins Corners does them all. My eggs were cooked exactly as I asked. The home fries were REAL.....as in not frozen. They were nicely seasoned and crispy in all the right places. Bacon was perfect. My toast was buttered properly. I know that might sound picky, but i enjoy it like that. It was served with a little side cup of watermelon. Very tasty.

The service was friendly, and he didn't miss a beat. Making sure we had all the condiments, fresh coffee refill, and the meal was to our liking.

Also, plenty of parking and the washroom was clean. Definitely will go out of our way to return.

Fantastic little diner, homemade food. The owners have a variety of takeout & will adjust your meal to your taste. My husband loves the cabbage rolls & meatloaf. Gets pretty busy on the weekends. Opens until 3. Highly recommend it!

My second review. I’m here about four times a week. Never a bad meal! Carmen and John are the owners. Everything is freshly made and has homemade goodness in every bite. Just had the Beef Barley soup, and it was fantastic. Tons of beef and veggies in it. More like a stew than a soup!
They get busy, and staff for restaurants is hard to find. Please be patient. You won’t be disappointed with your meal.

Great food! My go-to breakfast spot. Always clean, bright and amazing covered patio. Carmen and John work hard to make sure your food is hot and fresh. True “homemade” breakfast, lunch and deserts. Well worth the drive!

I haven’t been to such a good breakfast place in a long time. The eggs benedict were delicious and the service wonderful! My girls also had their breakfast to taste and loved it. Thank you! Definitely going back!

After 3 hours hiking in the snow, we drove by this family restaurant and tried the All Day breakfast. The food is great and the coffee is really hot and tasty. The owner John and his wife (sorry I forgot her name) are very friendly. Sure will go back to try the lunch menu.

Best bacon and eggs ever! Not greasy or oily. The term "clean" comes to mind. Came back next day for the stuffed peppers, they juicy, not dry, very nice.

The Eggs Benedict with home fries are delicious. All food at this gem are truly home made, with dishes reminding me of authentic traditional foods from home. I am happy to recommend them!
