Absolutely love this place. Beautiful hotel rooms and surrounded by nature. Love the lounge on the second floor. Comfy seating with coffee and tea available. The little patio off our room is nice as well. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was great.

We had the pleasure of booking 2 nights at this breath-taking boutique 9 acre estate for my first trip to Galiano, and what a divine experience this turned out to be. From the first moment of driving in through the impressive custom black metal gates, we knew that our stay was going to be something very special, and it was. We were met by Roxie the owner whose bubbly and friendly effervescence made us feel like family right away as she gave us an all encompassing tour. The warmth and grandeur of this antique filled manor is something that can only be felt in person, as no amount of written words can truly convey this feeling as you immerse yourself into this magical place. Our king suite room was beyond spectacular. The very roomy suite with high ceilings and spacious patio was exquisitely furnished with amazing antiques that all seemed to be created by a top notch interior designer. We even had our own private hot tub tucked away to the left of the patio in a hidden little alcove. The large windows bathed the room in wonderful light and looked out onto a serene little valley dotted with deer, horses, and many varieties of feathered friends. The super generous, tasty and highly filling breakfast is the best I have ever had; don't let the word continental fool you. We had a truly wonderful dinner there with impeccable service in a very luxurious setting. Although, we were not able to partake of a meal on the patio, we could see that the view and ambiance was breath taking and for cooler temps they have excellent quality heaters in addition to a feature wood fireplace to make it so very cozy. You can tell that a lot of love and hard work has gone into making Woodstone Manor a very special place and experience.

We recently did a bike tour of Galiano Island and had the pleasure of staying at Woodstone Manor. What an amazing find. The property has well manicured lawns, natural rock retaining walls, walking paths for strolling the property and several sitting areas where you can always find a place to sit, relax and and enjoy the scenery.
The Manor itself has undergone meticulous renovations that exude quality craftmanship. There is a beautiful dining room and outdoor patio where you can enjoy the great menu.
Our 1st floor room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. We had the benefit of a closed in patio which we were able to roll our bikes into. If you are bringing pets, this style room with the closed patio would be ideal for you.
Overall the service was outstanding throughout our stay. I highly recommend staying at Woodstone Manor if you are on Galiano Island.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The room was gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. Very nice toiletries.

We had an amazing getaway and such a lovely stay here! We stayed in the king room, totally worth the upgrade! The bed is SO comfy, the view was so lovely looking over the farm with horses. The owners were so sweet and accommodating, delicious breakfast as well which was included. We will definitely be coming back!

The wood stone manor is one of the quaintest inn’s I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. It is clean, charming and the beds are super comfortable! The main host Roxy is so kind and welcoming. She even leant me a memory foam for the campsite the next few nights. I would highly recommend this little Gem!

We’ve stayed at the Woodstone a few times now and each time we’re blown away by how kind & thoughtful the staff are. They really go out of their way to make your stay special. Food is delicious, rooms are super clean and comfy, and the views of the pasture are so bucolic and serene. We love it so much.

Celebrated my birthday at the restaurant. Had a wonderful meal overlooking the beautiful pasture. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. Thanks to everyone who came to the table and sang me happy birthday! And thanks to Tommy for introducing us to this place! They offer a shuttle from Montague Harbour Marina for all you boaters who would like a nice dinner option. A real gem on Galiano Island!

I recently stayed for three nights at Woodstone Manor while working a wedding at another venue on the Island and I can not say enough good things! Firstly, the team at Woodstone welcomed over 100 guests to dine in their restaurant for two lunches during the wedding weekend. The service was complicated with multiple options and dietary considerations and the team bent over for backwards to ensure a flawless event. They worked tirelessly with us in the months leading up to the wedding and went above and beyond on the two event days. I would not hesitate to bring any of my couples and their guests back to Woodstone Manor.

On a personal note, as I mentioned, I stayed at Woodstone Manor while working the wedding at another location and the team was so kind and welcoming to myself and my family. My son was so excited to be there and was immediately welcomed like he was part of the family. There was a magical toy box that he was able to choose a gift from and he even got to ride on a tractor. He cried on the way home wishing he could live there forever. The room was immaculate, the bed extra comfortable and the food was delicious, but I think it was the extra care attention and welcoming atmosphere that made our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back as a family to enjoy the property once again. Thank you to Roxy, Stephen, Anita, Donna and the rest of the team for all your hard work. We cannot thank you enough.

I booked last minute for myself and my two daughters, age’s 3 years and 1 month. The service, from assistance with making the booking to check in and the duration of my stay, was impeccable. I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. As were my children. We felt so welcome and cared for. The details of comfort and decor were very intentional. It was clear every opportunity to go above and beyond for guests was taken. Given the attention to detail and generosity of service the cost of the room felt like a bargain. Will absolutely plan to go back.

Amazing hospitality!! Roxy and the other staff at Woodstone Manor makes you feel like family and truly made our stay on Galiano Island memorable. The location is prime (it’s only 5 minutes to most attractions and restaurants), rooms are spacious and clean, and there’s free parking! The continental breakfast included was also delicious - we were so full every morning. The only slight drawback is that there’s no AC in rooms, but it seems to be consistent across the island. In replacement you get a nice & silent fan.

Overall, we loved the accommodation and hospitality and would definitely be back at Woodstone the next time we visit Galiano!

My stay at Woodstone Manor was mid June and I booked a King suite on the second floor (window, no patio) as the ground floor patio rooms were sold out. Right away on arrival, I thought how much nicer it would have been to have booked the patio rooms as the pastoral view is gorgeous and the ground floor pastoral view patio rooms seem to have a floor to ceiling style window. The rooms are close to each other but my room was surprisingly quiet and I didn't hear any other guests apart from the occasional water tap coming on and off or a door being closed. The room as well as the bath tub was a good size and wonderful to soak in with my feet not even reaching the other end! There is a sense of spaciousness about this place that I appreciated. There was a fan in the room which was a big bonus as it was warm some nights and I left the window open and with the fan it was a huge help to cool down the room. I didn't have any reception on the island for some reason so great to have wifi all over the grounds to check in with work.
I missed having someone help me with the luggage up and down the second floor and although the lady that checked me in kindly offered to help me, I could see how busy they were and didn't want to ask.The island seems to have difficulty with staffing which I was told by a lot of the locals and one could see how efficiently and hard everyone here was working to take care of all of the guests.
I appreciated that a small change could be made to my breakfast because of my dietary limitations, which was a delicious and fresh (and huge) platter consisting of mixed fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, breakfast ham, a croissant, mixed cheeses , jams etc. , coffee and a juice of my choice. They didn't carry alternative milk but the room has a mini fridge so one can store stuff like that in there. There is a quiet lounge where I could work. They tried to accommodate a whole bunch of guests while I was here in different ways, which is a quality that is so special (and at times rare) in a hospitality business.
The real beauty of the manor comes alive when one has the time and patience to enjoy it. My favourite part was sitting out on their spacious patio overlooking the pastures gazing at the horses and absorbing the peacefulness of the land.They also have lounge chairs out in their grounds overlooking the pasture and I took one of their complimentary shawls and bathed in the sun with a drink. The stay here truly makes the island experience better, since there isn’t a whole lot to do on the island compared to some of the other Gulf islands.
Loved the slow pace and the friendly people.... Roxy the owner’s bustling energy and the staff, Anita, Donna and Courtney and the cute young girl who works there on weekends are delightful and try their best to get you what you ask for. This is what will bring me back again and again every time! Highly recommend!

We stayed at woodstone manor for Easter long weekend for a group of six people and had a wonderful time there. Service is excellent, beautiful view, very nice room and great food!

The hotel is a beautiful vacation house with a lot fine details and delicate decorations. It felt certainly more like a family house instead of a hotel. The pastoral view is fantastic! And the room comes with a nice patio. There is also a very nice tea room upstairs where we all like to stay and have some tea. Also the breakfast is included!

The most special part about the hotel is definitely the owner Roxy! We all love her so much! She has great energy and really went the extra mile to ensure we had a good time at the woodstone and Galiano Island. We didn’t bring the car the Island (big mistake) and Roxy offered to drive us around the island every day and even gave us a personal tour to the Island, making us truly felt like family ❤

I can’t wait to come back and try their restaurant (unfortunately the restaurant was not open on April).

Basically one of the best experiences we have ever had. We were so warmly welcomed that we felt right at home. Travelling to a new place, we always think about a few things... do we feel comfortable, safe and happy by the end of the trip? We were able to check all of these boxes here.

The evening drinks were amazing, the breakfast superb, and the room was absolutely beautiful. Everything was phenomenal... not to mention the beautiful views from the patio area.

We hope to be back again soon!

Roxy adopted us from a horrible stay elsewhere. We were welcomed with friendly staff. The room was spectacular, and the food was also amazing! Thank you Woodstone!

We had a wonderful lunch here. Our server, Anita, was prompt and friendly. The smoke burger was delicious and the pakora cheese burger with salad was good. Beautiful scenery onto farmland with Mount Galiano in the background. The patio is dog friendly. Bathrooms were clean and luxurious. We would definitely go back. Prices were competitive, especially considering the setting. Highly recommended!

Wow wow wow! This place is truly magical. Roxy and her entire staff "treat you like an earl and feed you like a king", as another reviewer has said. A beautiful cottage-core luxury paradise, without pretensions or fakery: 100% genuine country manor refinery -- escape the daily grind and the ensh-ttification of the urban rat race: relax, recharge, and truly enjoy life here. Free transportation to and from montegue harbour: fly in for dinner, stay the night, have breakfast here and tour the island before heading back out there. You cant take it with you, but you can sure take it all in here on their beautiful grounds. I would recommend everyone to have their weddings and anniversaries here for sure. Fairy tale magical. This is where Buttercup and Westley went after the movie perfect kiss.

My husband and I spent last night at this fabulous establishment. It has recently been refurbished and the owners gave us a personal tour. Our room had a private patio and view overlooking a meadow. Our 6' long, deep tub was wonderful to soak in.
Our dinner in the DR was delicious and Stephanie was delightful. Donna and Roxie made us feel so welcome it felt like a home away from home. It was definitely a pleasurable experience and one we will repeat.
