Mead Electric

I'm extremely pleased with the work Mead Electric did installing a NEMA 6-50 receptacle in my garage (for a ChargePoint Home Electric Vehicle Charging Station for my Chevy Volt). The installation was completed quickly, competently, and for a reasonable price. Josh and Brandon were a pleasure to work with; they were punctual, professional, and diligently cleaned up during and after their work. I was in a bit of a hurry--I was able to get a visit for a quote the day after I called, and after sending me the quote, they were able to come the day after I purchased my charging station. Prior to contacting Mead, I contacted a couple of other electricians who did not behave professionally, provided expensive quotes, and generally did not leave me confident that I could trust them with my home's electrical work. Overall, I highly and unreservedly recommend Mead Electric for any residential electrical work. Thanks again, guys!

Edit November 2022: I've had Mead come by a couple more times in the past few years, and have continued to be very pleased with them. Especially the previous time they came by it was a bit of an emergency, they were quite busy, but they still squeezed me in very quickly. They've continued to do great work for reasonable prices, and have always been pleasant to deal with.

Josh and Brandon at Mead Electric have done a couple of jobs for us including upgrading our panel. We were very satisfied and working with Josh and Brandon is a pleasure.

We recently hired Mead Electric to complete some complicated electrical work in our Century Home. Brandon and Josh ran new wire, installed outlets, switches & light fixtures. They also had to move existing wiring to allow for additional renovations.
The guys did a great job and made sure it was completed to code. They were very professional and didn’t leave any doubts in our mind. If you are looking for reputable electricians to get your work done in a timely manner then you’ve found them.

I recently hired Mead Electric to replace an old back-up generator for our house. This required inside wiring to add 5 additional circuits, plus outside work to hook up the new generator.
Josh & Brandon were always on time, knowledgeable, meticulous, very pleasant, and even went above and beyond.
I have no hesitation in recommending them. I've even booked them for another project!

Thank you to Mead Electric for helping me when my meter blew off the wall. I phoned a few other places that could not help but Mead arrived within 20 minutes and took care of business, they contacted all the right people were polite and courteous.

Brandon came to install a new chandelier in a room without any lighting. He was very professional and knowledgeable on what had to be done. He was enthusiastic and we are very pleased with the work. Highly recommend Mead over other companies.

I waited a week to hear back from Mead regarding a car charger and subpanel but they chose not to reply at all.

Mead Electric could not be bothered to call me back with an appointment even though they promised they would. Very poor and rude business practice.
I do not recommend this company.
