Amazing selection and as it used to be a bank in the vault in the back the “good stuff” staff and friendly and helpful and they have a points program!

Awesome selection, but it’s the staff that make this place great. Whether you’re a beer nerd, wine enthusiast or anything in between, they’ll meet you where you’re at! Great place to go if you’re looking for some of those niche hard to find products, especially items with limited release from the mainland. Even if you’re not into alcohol, they have a selection of craft cheese, meat, and non alcoholic options to accommodate everyone. They’re a great asset to the cook street village community.

Great neighborhood wine shop!

Very good selection of BC wines which I am making a strong effort to explore. Aided greatly by in-house sommelier Jack and apprentice Jasmine, both of whom are enthusiastic about all facets related to wine - augmented further by weekly wine tastings. Don't forget to visit "the vault" too. A small charcuterie cooler offers some nice items to round out your visit (and their 'frequent buyer' program offers discounts on these items).

Nice little flower shop in front as well, and Bella assembles nice arrangements.

I just had my day brightened by the cashier, she gifted me a bouquet of flowers that were not at their best, very kind of her!

Small but mighty! This store is equipped with the best of the best. They are helpful and full of knowledge. The store offers a variety of of different wines, beers, ciders and hard liquor. Even if they don't have the brand you know and love, they will help you to find something new and exciting!

The staff at Cook Street Liquor are always incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely friendly. They really know their product! I recently moved to a new neighbourhood, and haven't had anywhere close to same experience in other stores. If I need to pick anything up I'll head back to Cook Street Liquor every time.

They have an excellent selection of wines and craft beers. But, what makes this place great is the friendly, helpful staff, and the store dog.

An incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly staff! Customer service is number one! Never waited longer than a minute to pay for my purchases. These folks are really are awesome. Very competitive prices, if not better.

Decided it was time to throw these folks a review. One could say they are the rock of Cook St. The heartbeat of hipster-ville. Not only do they have an incredible selection of the best boozes, fine wines, and brazen beers; they also have a bodega and charcuterie corner that you can use points to redeem.

Despite putting away their flowers for the night, the two dudes working tonight helped me prep the best apology bouquet for my partner. Saved the day.

Good selection, convenient location, and friendly staff. They also have a great selection of craft beer, and a full time flower store. There prices are about 10-15 percent above government liquor stores, but that's to be expected. They also have a great rewards program, where you can get concert tickets, various swag from distributors, discounts on purchases etc.

Great liquor store, large beer and wine fridge, knowledgeable staff, tons of local craft beer and Van Isle as well as other BC wines, plus of course lots of international stuff. I've never been disappointed with their recommendations. Top notch! And their new location is perfect.

While we love Cook St Liquor (favourite liquor store in the city!) this review is for Cook St Greenery which is the cute little flower shop at the front of the store. Alina did all our wedding florals and I cannot say enough great things!! Her bouquets were beautiful, she listened to what we wanted and created the perfect arrangements for our day. All the other details we ordered, like a flower crown, table greenery, and corsages, were perfect as well. The pricing was incredibly reasonable for the quality of flowers we received. We could not have picked a better florist, and would recommend Cook St Greenery to anyone!!

Very nice liquor store. Carries a decent variety of items. Due to the limited physical size, if you have something specific in your mind, call ahead. The staff is nice and friendly and quite knowledgeable. Their multiple recommendations have done well.

My favorite craft beer store in Vic. Great selection of high end bottles, singles and 6 packs. Other spirits have great selection as well.

Great selection of craft beer single cans, and they had a discount for a DIY beer can advent calendar, which was just in time for me to get a birthday gift. A bit pricey though, but the selection and their points system makes up for it :)

Slightly on the pricy side but a great collection of beers from craft breweries around bc and Canada. Stocked up on twin sails...most other liquor store in town didn't have them! So I'm definitely looking forward to revisiting :)

Nice staff, clean shop, fantastic selection of craft beer and hard alcohol. My favorite was the Kombucha and beer mix from Rogue Ales and the green can of Steamworks beer. I also met the resident dog Whiskey, very cute.

Great selection of craft beers and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and interested. Prices are in line w the competition and the convenience can't be beat.

Friendly staff, amazing selection, great pricing (prices include tax). I'm a beer nut and this is the first place I go to look for special releases that none else gets. They have a great wine, cider, and spirits selection, too, but my liver can only take so much abuse.
