Sarah in the Salon is fabulous. She is hilarious, so sweet, and very much so cares about what her clients want and it always turns out beautifully. I have gone to her for my red and always get fabulous compliments! Get in her chair you’ll love it!

im usually not a review person but i couldnt not today. ive struggled so much with my foundation always coming out dry and patchy no matter what i tried, ive felt so defeated. i had someone help me in store today. showed me things she likes and that might work. i was able to go out tonight with perfect looking foundation and just feeling amazing. im sad i never caught her name but im so grateful for her amazing help 🖤

This rating is Strictly for CoralGene! Who is a Clinique consultant at Ulta on the Boulevard. First of all she is extremely professional and understands how to properly greet customers. She is literally the only person who has ever been able to find a Fondation for my skin type & color. She took her time and matched my tone & skin type perfectly. She even gave me a sample of my make-up until I could order more. CORALGENE is the only person I allow to touch my face! She has great energy and she understands her clients needs. Kelly did my hair after me not doing a thing with it since 2020. She dedicated herself to ensuring I was completely happy and satisfied with my hair, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the whole process. I didn't feel rushed at all. She was insanely kind and extremely professional. I recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Very organized place and you can get help from the team. I had the chance to do my highlights at beauty service with Sara and she is an amazon professional person. I did not like my highlights and she kindly fixed my hair and she did a pretty good job. Also Kelly blow dry my hair and we had a chat about makeup. I will book a makeup lesson with Kelly and I will meet Sara again for the roots. Highly recommend.

I really really like the vibe of this store. There were 3 separate associates that helped me today (I had to get their names because of how helpful they were). Safarah came up to me and asked if I needed help with anything and found me a product that I thought was sold out on the shelves. Then, Carol Gene was just an absolute pleasure and I asked her for some advice on cream blush. Not only did she help me but she also even said “would you like me to ask for another associates opinion too? I won’t tell her which one I chose”, Safarah was actually the associate she asked! Then Caitlin was the associate who cashed me out and was just a total sweetheart. Never did any of them come off as pushy or “fake nice”. Also, not only were they super kind to me, but they were also super friendly towards EACH OTHER too, which was really nice to see.

Had my first facial here. It was an amazing experience. The Esthetician was very informative and listens well to my skin concerns. I really hope they bring these services back.

Steven was fabulous! I went in looking for a tinted moisturizer and he brought me right to one, found my perfect tone and recommended a primer to go with it. Was absolutely knowledgeable and friendly! Thank you Steven!

I met Rachel M in the store while looking for a hair product. She impressed me with her passion and knowledge of hair. Which led me to make an appointment to have my hair colored for the first time. To say I am satisfied is an understatement! I was/ am blown away with the finial product!! She explained every step she was doing and made me feel VERY confident in her abilities. Rachel is beyond personable and personifies professionalism!! If you want a great cut and color, meet Rachel! She will make your hair dreams come true!!!!!

Huge array of choices, however I could not find my catwalk hair mask. The girl was wonderful, tried to help me, and then went to the computer, couldn't find it in their inventory, so looked it up on regular internet and found it. The place is amazing. I want to work there. I was in cosmetics for years. I would do a great job.

Last week I made an appointment with Rachel M. for root color and hair cut. She did an excellent job, my best hair cut in Buffalo. I tried couple other places before but she knows the hair, she knows how to style it. Especially with my curly hair she gave me the best style. Thank you Rachel, you are the best!!

One word: CAROLGENE. Today she helped me find the perfect shade of foundation. Now as a woman of color, I’m very careful about the advice I take from those with fairer skin, but she helped me find the Best shade! Outside of that, she was energetic, warm, and her makeup looked fab so it was easy to trust her guidance. Thank you Carolgene!

Carol Jean (I hope I spelled that right) at the ulta on Niagara Falls blvd in amherst was amazing! I had no idea what shade concealer or foundation I’d be and She helped me match both and blended it in. It’s the perfect color and looks so good!! She’s also so sweet! I recommend going to see her!

Always addicting and a fun store to shop in. The clearance section in the back is always a great place to find deals. I also love the fact that if I really didn't like a makeup I've purchased, they still will give you a full refund and accept the used item.

Safara Made The Difference and is an Epic Makeup Goddess.

I wanted to take the time to sincerely thank this store and it's staff for an excellent experience and introduction to makeup. I called this location around 4PM today to inquire about scheduling an appointment for guidance on finding the right foundation shade in Fenty as well as getting a recommendation for a daily skincare routine.

The manager India was the one that responded and was fantastic. She listened to what I wanted to come in for, explained the company policy on application of makeup due to covid and suggested times I could come in today or tomorrow to talk with their staff. I opted to arrive at 5:30PM after work and despite the busy store was greeted almost immediately by India who remembered my name and took me over to Safara for help in finding the right products.

Honestly, I don't want the rest of this review to seem to mushy so I'd first like to say Safara is absolutely one of the most fantastic people I've met in a store ever. I was dying of nervousness trying to find makeup but she was really patient, continuously offered new shades to try and didn't mind the fact that I was taking a significant portion of her time. She walked me through at least 4 Fenty shades until I found the one that magically just blended!!!!! (385 woo!) She also helped me learn what order to apply the makeups and offered a great color corrector and setting powder as well!
This process had to take at least 30 minutes, so by the end of it I was pretty much ready to stop taking up all her time and just leave with the makeup, but she remembered that I wanted a skin care routine and helped me pick out an amazing set of products that work for my schedule and budget. Honestly, this woman is epic.

She made me feel completely welcome during this process and provided a lot of good education along with her recommendations on the proper way to use the products. We got to the end with picking a good daily lip balm and I honestly felt like crying. I was just so grateful and relieved for the time she had spent with me but I didn't want to be the weirdo crying so I just told her thank you and paid.

I really really want to say it here though, Safara made the difference. I have incredible anxiety when it comes to makeup since it's not my forte but I want to try and get better at it. I came in anxious and unsure and left confident all because of Safara's help and guidance.

Seriously, what an amazing trip. I had been to other makeup stores in the area but never had an experience like this. Ulta, thank you for a wonderful first time to your stores and thank you India and Safara for being so kind and considerate to a stranger looking to gain more confidence in herself. You both are wonderful and greatly impacted me positively tonight. <3 <3 <3
