Good quality food at a really competitive price and great sales. Super friendly staff. We often order for delivery and once in awhile an issue has come up with an error in the order or expiry date days away. Amazing customer service who have given us credits or refunds if issues come up.
FYI - the delivery team is managed by a separate save-on-foods group not associated with the store so the store manager/staff don’t have full control over them. I was upset about a missed delivery, they were super apologetic and provided a refund even though it wasn’t their fault. I felt terrible when I found out the deliveries aren’t under the store’s control specially.

Save-On-Foods, a grocery chain firmly rooted (and had its beginnings as Overwaitea) in BC. Big stores with good quality fruits and veg. Be sure to get your reward card so that you receive the sale price on items. Kinda like Airmiles, you can use points to buy things from the catalog. Lately, I find it takes forever to rack up enough points to make them useful unlike years ago when you got lots of points. Still, one of my favourite grocery stores to do your weekly shop at.

I buy my groceries here regularly and in return, they make sure I don't go completely broke by keeping their prices low. One of the best relationships I've ever been in, 5 stars.

Save and food is grocery store and it is place you can find fresh food, fruits and vegetables, also affordable prices. Excellent service and warm welcoming experience. I love to shop save on food.

I've enjoyed shopping here over the years. The staff are polite and helpful. They also are hard workers. Whenever I shop I see them either restocking, working hard on the registers or lottery desk and in the other sections like the deli and flower section. I also enjoy shopping here because if I have a problem, the staff politely help to fix it. Keep up the hard work. The store is also clean and it has great produce!

I am full of gratitude for the service I recieved today from this particular store. I had ordered a cake to have it delivered to a dear friend. Micheal the manager went above and beyond his job duties today by personaly deliving this cake as I live on the mainland. I cannot say Thank you enough. What you did was very thoughtful and caring. I am one very happy customer.

the bakery at this location is by far the best in the city not just at save on foods but anywhere in town. I drive from across town to get their buns. the Quality of the food is tops! 10/10 the staff are very friendly and super helpful. I met the manager Scott the other day and he great. I've been shopping here for a few years now and just want to say thanks guys!

What a nice place to shop. As good as my usual Thrifty! In fact one member of staff was exceptional. His service wowed me. This has not happened for several years. I found Kyle Smith extremely helpful; clearly I was a confused middle agedlady but his service was understanding, helpful without being condescending. He is truly an intelligent, kind man, an asset to the company. Well done, I shall continue to shop there. Kyle managed to take my breath away.

I have shopped in this store since I first moved to BC, many years ago.
I see many familiar faces as some of the staff have been here a long time, which I think says a lot about how they feel about there work place and it shows in turn how they treat the customers. You can find other places to shop close to this store but its not the same attention to detail.

Love Save on Foods. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and well stocked. The online ordering app is really easy to use and a huge time saver, your groceries can be delivered or you can pickup at the stores drive thru lane a staff member brings it to you vehicle and loads your groceries in. Join the more rewards, lots of great items to choose from, travel is available as well. Save on Foods also price matches competitors flyers. Thanks Save on Foods you make my life easier.

Went to Save-On-Foods on my way to a bbq where I was meant to bring chicken kebabs. Unfortunately there were none left that were packaged but an excellent staff member James in the deli went into the back and got me exactly what I needed. Not only that but he told me what flavours were available and recommended his favourite flavours. I let him choose what he thought was best and they were an absolute hit at the bbq. Thank you James for going above and beyond to get me what I needed!

My cashier was Pooja. She was the sweetest person and after a really long stressful work day brought a smile on my face. Thank-you to Pooja for being so lovely. I really hope this corporation realizes what a gem of a human they have working for them. :)

Better amount of stock than many of the other grocery stores,during this virus crisis . The Tillicum (Save On) has been bad, in that regard.

Handy location, right across from Uptown mall.

My mom and I were planning my great grandma's last minute funeral and we went to Save On Foods in Saanich to order party platters. We spoke with two workers at the front of the store regarding online orders but we were having troubles signing up and ordering. We were past the 24-hour time frame to get the food delivered by Tuesday but they went above and beyond to help us and called the manager Sydney who was able to get the food to us in time for the funeral. Thanks so much for helping my mom and I! We were very happy with the service.

There are a few specialty items I can get here that no one else carries. It is convenient to work. I can stop in and pick up some chocolate croissants before work. It's considerably cheaper than getting the same thing from Starbucks. Nice clean store.
