The Lancaster Smokehouse

Sweet baby Jesus... this place is HEAVEN!! I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars because it's possibly the best southern style restaurant in this part of the country. I went there this evening for my birthday dinner and we got the two meat platter to share, and added two more sides (because who could choose only two lol) and it was almost too much for two people. So definitely share, or plan for lots of amazing leftovers.

Wanted to try BBQ in Kitchener so we looked up and found Lancaster. Glad we did. Great selection of meats and sides and apps. Have to go back to taste more. Steve (George) was great. They make their own BBQ sauce. Food comes out in trays like in Fort Worth.

I loved this place! The food was AMAZING! Not wondering why people always make a line in the restaurant. We waited for 45 minutes, so I recommend to reserve a table before you go. The service was a bit slow, but overall excellent experience

My daughter and I had the 3 meat platter with a bun on the side. I made the tastiest pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw ever. I wings were big and honey garlic sauce delicious 😋 We can't wait to go back.

Brisket was perfect, ribs were absolutely delicious, pulled pork was so good, not stringy, chicken legs were fall off the bone delicious.
Mmm creamed corn and corn bread 😋
Good variety of craft beers 🍺
Only wish they had something for our vegetarian daughter, apparently the pizza option is only available for happy hour Wednesday and Thursday.
Overall a great experience.

We really enjoyed our food. The portions were so filling that we got to take a good amount home! (you get what you paid for basically) or maybe it’s because we are girls and can’t eat much at a time 🤷🏾‍♀. The drinks were also good. I would advise you make a reservation since the place is always packed and so you don’t have to seat close to the bathroom like we had to.

If you are looking for the best food and best service, this is where to go. We celebrated our canadian citizenship there, and it was simply perfect.
Best bbq that I had in the region and staff was so friendly. They put up a hand-made canada flag drawing to congratulate us and offer us 2 free waffle icecream. WOW!!!
If you think they are pricey, I can guarantee than it is worth it. We had takeout for 2 more dinner haha.

If you've never been to the Lancaster Smokehouse I highly recommend it! But make sure you come hungry! The portion sizes are insane! I ate as much as I physically could while seated and still ended up bringing an entire meals worth home with me! Everyone at our table ended up with a takeout container lol (NOT complaining at all!) The service was fast &friendly & the food was hot and absolutely delicious! Everyone loved everything! The place is quite busy though so expect a little noise. I'd also recommend making a reservation before arrival. Overall 10/10 can't wait to come back! They even threw in a killer Waffle & Ice Cream for my sister's birthday 🤗

Good food, and platters full. Loved the selection of local beers and ciders. Only reason it's a four for the food is because it came out cold. The pulled pork and brisket were soft, and saucey... but not hot. Would still go back! Yum 😋

Been here several times and pretty solid bbq. I ordered 3 meat platter (smoked wings, brisket and ribs) with Mac n cheese and baked beans. Everything was really good, well seasoned and smokey. What I would suggest is to ask for the sauce (brisket) on the side. I want to taste the brisket first then decide if I want it to be sauced. Just my opinion. My son had the brisket sandwich, which was huge and he wasn't able to finish it 🤣.

John did a great job introducing us to the beauty of brisket, ribs and wings. Mac and cheese was surprisingly tasty. Desserts were huge, as were overall portions. We will be back!

The portions were gigantic for the price!! We got the 3 meat platter with an add on of brisket for two people, and it was easily large enough to feed three. We left very full! The sweet potato fries were great, and I loved their homemade BBQ sauces. Our server was so attentive and sweet as well.

We ordered the platter with brisket, ribs, pulled pork, hot links and wings. Everything was delicious the brisket, ribs and pork were our favourites. Quick and courteous service. Really good!

Absolutely love this Southern BBQ joint! It's hands down my top spot because the food is out-of-this-world delicious, and the portions are huge!

The menu is loaded with all the classic BBQ favorites. Plus, they don't skimp on the servings, so you'll definitely leave with a full belly and a smile on your face. If you're a BBQ enthusiast like me, this place is an absolute must-try!

Best smokehouse in the Kitchener, Cambridge area. The beef brisket was moist and delicious. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken tenders. The sauce was sweet and spicy. The buttermilk ranch sauce was a really good compliment. The cornbread was sooooo good, we had to take some to go! The portions here are super generous, so definitely order less than you think you'll eat, lol. Or consider sharing a plate. We'll definitely be coming back here. Try to reserve a table ahead of time because they are always sorry busy, and for a good reason. Delicious food!

The food is plentiful and so tasty - classic smokehouse fare but you have to try the brisket. So much choice on the menu and the multi-meat platters low you to try a bit of everything to share with everyone at your table. The place does look like much outside but it's nice in the dining room with lots of space between tables and a clean and bright environment. No tv's blaring sports games 👍👌 although it does get noisy when the place fills up. I will go back for sure.

Went as a group in order to get the family platter. We got the brisket, ribs, sausage, and pulled pork. All the meat were extremely juicy and flavourful, the sauce really elevated it. The sweet potato fries were worth the upgrade, and I especially liked the Mac and cheese.

Fried chicken was also cooked and seasoned nicely. I was tempted to say the waffle was too small but in fact it was the chicken that had huge portions.

Service was very friendly as always. Love this place.

Excellent food and service. Had the pleasure of sitting at the bar for dinner and our bartender was wonderful. Celebrated our anniversary and she surprised us with dessert.

Great place and super friendly service, the beef brisket is one of the best imho and the sausage was very nice and loved the coleslaw
