Stonehouse Pub

Owner Alan and wait staff Denise made us feel so at home! This pub is charming and being from Irish decent we thoroughly enjoyed the many decorations (especially the garden gnomes). The food was fantastic and the price was right! We will certainly be back💚💚

We had a wonderful experience at the Stonehouse pub. The food and service was great and on top of that it has a nice atmosphere. We will definitely come again.

This was a delicious,tasty,filling burger 🍔 😀
It was a Bison burger and it did not disappoint 💯 Service was 🔥🔥🔥 a nice place for any meal♥ The menu has a great selection👍🏽 The fries were also good 👌🏽

If you have time before your ferry...and you want much better food!!!!...you must find this super sweet little spot! Better than average pub fare, and friendly staff had us in and out on time to make our ferry reservation. It was a pure delight...can't wait to go back in summer to enjoy one of their gorgeous outdoor spaces. Only note...you have to do the ferry U-turn route to get back to ticket booths. Easy peasy...don't panic and follow signs.

Great spot to go to while waiting for the ferry! 10 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, but you'll need your ferry ticket from your car to get back in.

Probably one of the Peninsula's best little gems.
Never had a bad meal. Reasonable prices. Great staff. Lots of character.

I never write reviews but this place was breathtakingly beautiful. the location and atmosphere felt straight out of a painting or movie. the food was lovely and the staff were super kind. I genuinely think this was some of the best food i’ve had this whole year. I highly recommend!!!

Great pub with excellent beer selection and a terrific and tasty menu. It was our first time there and I want to give a shout out to the staff -- friendly, always two-steps ahead in anticipating what our group needed, and a great sense of humor that made our dining experience even better.

Came here after biking from Victoria for the day. It’s a beautiful pub and was so nice to sit in their garden after a long ride. I ended up not being as hungry as I thought after the ride so just had some fries. They were great, perfectly crunchy and came with a nice aioli. I was excited to try the shepherds pie but will have to get it next time. The waitress was nice and service was great.

This has potential to be one of the best pubs on the island. It will need a little loving first. The food was way better then I expected. The sambuca prawns are a must try! Looking forward to seing what the new owners are going to do to the place.

We were travelling through trying to find a good fish and chips joint. This local restaurant was great! Their service, presentation, and overall taste / menu options were great! I would defiantly recommend the fish and chips especially if you're looking for a bite before you get on the ferry.

I have found my favourite pub! If you are looking for an adorable little pub without too much noise and loud sports playing then this is the place! The food was amazing (with gluten free options), the service was wonderful, and I can't say enough about the building and scenery. The summer patio is also really amazing too. I am so looking forward to going back again and again!

First impression was great. Server was nice, food was absolutely delicious and the price is reasonable. This is why this place gets a 5 star.

Had our wedding rehearsal dinner here, the staff were amazing, friendly and very accommodating. The food has always been great, highly recommend the sambuca prawns. I look forward to any chance I get to go to the stone house pub. It is a gem of the island.

Oh goodness what a slice of heaven! Cool shade and enjoyment courtesy of the garden on any summer day 🙂 And the menu, although small, is packed full of quality and flavour! Mmmm...I want more of that pizza now 😂
