Riverboat Family Restaurant

Stopped here while on a drive to Selkirk. First time eating here. The food and the service were both great! I had the Reuben sandwich which came with fries and cole slaw, it was all fresh and tasty.Will definitely be back.

The food at the Riverboat was very flavourful and quite enjoyable, staff were friendly, and service was very quick. The restaurant was also very clean and the decor was purposeful and tasteful.

The taco wrap (pictured) was stuffed very well and was worth the price, the poutine was a good size for the price aswell.

From the door to having my food on the table took only about 15 minutes, the food was hot and tasted fresh.

I would recommend the riverboat to anyone, and will definitely go back soon.

I love this place. Homemade food at it's best. The liver and onions is delicious, as is the pickerel dinner. Servers are friendly and attentive. The space is bright, with lots of booths. There's an open kitchen so you can see what's going on, if you like that. You get a ton of food on each plate. I've never been able to get to the desserts because I can't finish my main course.

This is one of many restaurants gems in Selkirk ❤

Went for an early birthday dinner on Saturday March 2. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and the servers sang happy birthday me! Thanks for a great dinner and excellent service!

I just finished a cheeseburger from Riverboat restaurant in Selkirk. I must say it's the best burger I've had . It's big , tastes great and only 10.99 ! Give it a try you won't be disappointed

I had the Ultimate Burger and it was fantastic! Service was friendly and fast, food was served hot and prepared well. Burger was Awesome!

“Our 5 oz. patty, a grilled smoked weiner, 2 slices of bacon,
melted cheddar cheese topped with pickled banana peppers,
crispy onion rings, with lettuce and tomato placed inside a
hamburger bun with spicy mayo and then topped with till pickles.”

We made a last minute reservation (less than 24 hours notice) for FIFTEEN people and they handled it like pros. The owners came in on their day off to help accommodate us. They were super friendly, chatting with the kids and generally making the entire experience awesome for us. The owner even helped roll up my son’s sleeves before he dug into his birthday cake 🤣 Seriously above and beyond, exceeded our expectations.

The menu had something for everyone and it was well priced. We’ll be back for sure.

The best sit down restaurant I'm Selkirk, the cooks are incredible to every detail of making a fresh delicious meal. You have to get back here for lunch and try a wrap ot burger and dinner try the shepherd pie or fish and chips!

Your typical small town dinner. Great food and great service. How could you go wrong?

Went to the Riverboat for the first putting with our baby and they couldn't be more welcoming. Has a very family like atmosphere there. The food was all delicious and serving size was huge. Definitly a place to checkout!

Staff are always welcoming and friendly. As a number of us in party are allergic to perfumes, it's great knowing Doug's staff doesn't wear scented products which in turn doesn't ruin the taste of our meal or make us sick like other restaurants in the area.

Great place for breakfast..waitress was wonderful

First thing i asked the server. Will they add salt n pepper while the eggs cook. Answer was yes. I ordered eggs. That's a plus in my books. Not a fan of any restaurant who won't do it otherwise.

One of our favorite places to eat. Always great food. Hubby had clubhouse with fries. I had beef taco salad. Meals are always consistent. Another one of my lunch favs is their french onion soup with garlic toast. Waitresses are always polite and restaurant is always clean.

This is my “go-to” restaurant, it’s got the classic “greasy spoon” feel which is what we’re often searching for and just can’t find these days anymore! Quality food, perfect portions, friendly kind staff. I always recommend to friends, family and the odd person passing through that asks “where’s good to eat in town?” We’ve dined in, taken out, and ordered delivery, always a good experience!
