Sourced my own parts and took my diesel L400 in for a coolant issue . Was pretty confident it was the expansion tank . Got swapped out, pressure tested, and checked for any other issues . Very honestly confirmed that that was the only problem in the system.

I have been buying parts from RS for over 7-years now, and time-after-time I have always been pleased with the quality of parts, and speed of shipping.
My last transaction (injector pump rebuild) was a serious matter and I am simply floored at how quickly the job was done for such a low price. Have dealt with Steven on multiple occasions while sourcing parts for my 6G72 Delica. He had the parts that the other two didn't and was cheaper priced. I am out in Saskatchewan so sometimes it can be a hassle to source parts for a Delica because nobody local has knowledge on them. Steven was a breeze to deal with over the phone. On a couple occasions I had placed orders late in the day, around 4PM, and he still had them shipped out that day.

I sort of showed up on two seperate occasions in a rough situation, and Steven, and the mechanic helped me out big time. They do a quality job, know their stuff, and have all kinds of parts. I'd recommend these guys to anyone in Vancouver who needs a fix!

We really appreciated the helpful information Steven shared with us and the time he took to answer all our questions about importing a Canadian Delica to the USA. Unfortunately, the current covid border closures have made it impossible for us Americans to go see the Delica in person before importing it, and we ultimately decided that we were not comfortable buying a $17k car sight-unseen. So, per Rising Sun policies, Steven happily refunded our initial deposit, no questions asked. He was very professional and cordial in all our conversations, and it became apparent through hearing him talk that this work is not just his job, it’s his passion and family legacy. He sounded truly uncompromising on quality, which is a rare trait to find in the used car business!

If you’re a Canadian, I highly recommend you snatch up his Delicas before the US border opens, as they are in high demand down here, and once that border opens again, his lot will likely be picked clean.

Got a hitch installed on my Delica. Was able to bring it in immediately (emailed late and was able to bring it in the next day) and they did a great job, didn't take long at all to install. The staff (owner?) was also really nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. Would recommend calling them for anything JDM especially Mitsubishi Delica stuff and seeing if they can help you.

Got a new windshield for my delica. Thing was a right beaut. Good price, good product. Steven threw in some door seals for free. If I didnt live in another country (that will remain unnamed) I would be in there all the time. The biggest source of delica parts I've ever come across.

Update: Steven and crew replaced the head and many other things on my Deli. Fast service and respectfully priced. I am so thankful to have my van back and running at peak performance. These guys regularly throw in so many free extras and wont even take credit for it. This is definitely the place to take your Delica for work. You wont be disappointed

We purchased our 1993 Delica from Steven and had a great experience. We looked at over a dozen in the Vancouver area and none were as clean as the one we found at Rising Sun. Having a blast adventuring all over the PNW and love that Rising Sun is a great resource for parts when things do arise.
