Charbonneau Park

Charbonneau Park is not any longer the Park I used to know 25 years ago, when it use to be a... semi-ugly, filthy wood hiding the dark world of promiscuous love and those who succumb in a moment of ecstasy on the terrifying paths of drug (ab)use to forget the life, to forget themselves, to... forgive the world... At least for a moment...

Thou, it was more access to the water for fishing!

Nice, clean, with rich vegetation and a dock for boats, with well and neat drawn alleys, with spots for kids and benches facing the river, soccer field, slides, observation points, but most importantly with an open, free for everyone library the Park I found under the rain today is a place that is calling and... recalling me!

Recalls my friend white whom we used to bring our kids for a couple of hours of tranquility and joy while he was fishing and me was just watching the trees, the water, the kids, and mostly to evade from the struggle of building a life, to find a place in a new world.

For many years, now he, my friend, found his place and rests... In peace...

Beautiful place with kids games. Also , the river passes on the right side of the park.

The park is great with various playgrounds including a water park too. The best thing about this park is the well maintained restroom, resting area, diaper changing, water refill, air conditioning/heated and wifi too! In winter, they have sliding hill and skating rink.

Very nice parc, big enough and it has water amusement, the area is very quite, but watch it can be very crowded at a certain time of the day especially during the weekend

Nice in winter as well as in the summer. Could skate or slide or enjoy the outside fire place. Or in the summer the water games or use the picnic tables while kids play..

Amazing park, it has everything you need to do sports, play, get wet with your kids and have a picnic.

Very nice park, well maintained and modern. Great place any time of the year. Nice hill to slide down in winter and even a nice maintained rink to skate on with a locker room to put on skates and store your boots. Summer time there is a little water park for the kids to keep cool.

Excellent park, modern new building at the side of it serving bathroom....etc, one problem lately I' ve been there and the city has closed the most beautiful part of the park which has a vision at the face of the river.....let the park lost its beauty.

Beautiful park!! It has a bit of everything-splash pad, swings, slides etc...it is very clean. I especially loved and appreciated the picnic tables along the water bank. Great place for the whole family! Not too many people either, but I was there on a Monday so maybe it’s busier on the weekend. I definitely recommend it!

Big and nice place with water view

I wish non residents would start paying parking fees here. It gets crowded really fast. It's currently under renovation but playground and water games are still available. Lots of geese and nice walk available around Miller marsh.

Beautiful public park. Great for family activities and sports. Child party is huge and modern. Water park is open and great for the kids. Picnic, skating park, awesome area really. Lots of parking.

Beautiful park! Nice little pond area at the entrance, where there is a Real Piano outside that you can play on! Great for the whole family!

Beautiful in all seasons. The city of rosemere is very family, walking, bike and dog oriented. So beautiful I don't mind paying my taxes because I can see were the money goes. I have like here for 25 years and never moving. 😊 ❤

Kids have a great time nice park has sprinklers in the summer. Near the lake you can enjoy a nice walk.

Good parc with hidd3n path in the back. Skate parc built in 2017. Free parking. Lake with 2 swans. Beautiful new park. Nices fields and beach. No swimming allowed. You need a good 2 hours to go see everything. There is also a swamp path trail in the far end.

Good park, you see green everywhere there are many areas for kids to play like swings places and water games although it is a small but very helpful, at the edge of the park you will see many spots on the lake which is covered and you can sit with the family and enjoy great time, you also can walk around and have a sport with bicycle etc....

Always nice, clean. Love the addition of the water fountain for dogs. Our girl keela was very happy to get a drink.

It is a good place for families. The area has different places. Playground for kids. Volleyball field. Walking route. Cycling. Even boat riding but mostly for residence of Rosemere.
