Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital Emergency room

My mom and I came and waited 2-3 hours before we got to see a doctor. After that time we seen a Dr Michael Ryan Cohen. He was incredibly empathetic, reassuring and gave my mom the peace of mind she needed. She was so grateful for his immediate understanding of her condition. A huge thanks to him!

Only commenting on its history and what they do. Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital was founded in 1958, and its name was renamed and again reverted back in 2011 after merged with Credit Valley Hospital and Trillium Health Partners. It is a regional and teaching hospital in Mississauga Ontario Canada. It is specialized in Stroke, Cardiac, and Neurological Care for the the residents in the central and southern Mississauga area. Being one of the Ontario leaders in delivering exceptional patient care, they are continuously committed to providing the best they can to the people they care about. Thank you!

I went to emergency for my kid finger injury. I thought they have lot of waiting time but I came out with in hour. Doctors are very cooperate and without any delay they started treatment and guided for other services.

I apologize for taking 2 weeks to write this review. I received exceptional care and treatment from the team at Trillium when I had a lung biopsy on Mar.20/23. Erin, Jess, Russell, Veronica and the rest of the staff were phenomenal. My wife and I can't say enough about the super service that was delivered. We are so appreciative of the health care excellence that Trillium staff have demonstrated in so many ways over the past year. Thank you to everyone!

I thought from the really amazing guy greeting me in the entrance a lovely Jamaican fellow and the really helpful security guard a nice lad wearing a turbon, the excellent nurses and doctor on duty I had this was an amazing team of health care professionals! Now I can tell you it's not the staffs problem for the long wait time and no bed its all theses parents who are bringing in their kids with colds.... that's the problem! I was there from 9pm till 7am and that was the reason for the long wait time but all the staff there are doing their very best under the circumstances these foolish parents are causing., children's Tylenol or the doctor would be the ticket! Not a hospital emergency room lol Anyways I salute you health care professionals at Trillium

I was treated with great kindness and respect by all the staff, the waiting time was according to my situation.

Had to attend emergency here on a Thursday afternoon. Very busy place with ambulances and walk-ins like myself. I found the staff to be very energetic, empathic and patient. OHIP card in hand, personal info readily available, ability to communicate clearly my medical issue, I was greeted, triaged, and registered quickly. I did notice huge bottlenecks occurring when individuals arrived without proper identification, no OHIP card, and the inability to communicate clearly in English, their reason for attending. I have had to do the same thing in Cuba once, and yea, my inability to meet the local requirements very much slowed things down. I am not sure what the solution is here. More desks and personnel would not have helped. Every patient attending there, is there for very many varied reasons. Arriving with your OHIP card, personal information and being able to communicate clearly in English, is certainly a bonus (?). However, the Gov’t cannot control those realities of today’s population. The staff are doing an admirable job dealing with these realities.

Trillium Mississauga ICU best nurses I have ever read 1or 2 rest of them are amazing.

Great hospital. Very professional. I walked in prepared to wait 4-5 hours based on my experience in other hospital. We were out of there in just over an hour and a half. The separate Minor injuries area is great, it means you don’t constantly get bumped down by big emergencies. Overall great experience.

Didn't have to wait long. Initial triage was less than 15 mins as there were 4 nurses doing the initial triage. 👍👍

A huge thank you to Mr. Ian Shawer for helping me above and beyond. He is caring, trustworthy, excellent communicator , all I can say is thank you Mr. Shawer from the bottom of my heart.

The wait time was very minimal thanks to the RAZ. The care team was thorough and dedicated. Big kudos to them!

Wait time is less as compare to other hospitals.

The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. I highly suggest you treat them like humans as they will do the same to you

This is my first visit to this emergency, they were professional and it took me only 1 and half hour only to finish, I had an x-ray.
