Caffe Barney on Granville

This place has incredible brunch! I would definitely go again? I’m fact I can’t wait to. Their avocado toast and shroom toast were to die for. This is a great example of how a simple dish can be made to perfection. Staff was super friendly and said they’d grab me iced latte from the coffee shop next door (same owners).

Usually all brunch spots have limited vegetarian eggless options but this place had a couple ones I liked. I also got a side of beyond meat breakfast sausage which is sometimes hard to find in brunch spots.

Visited at lunch time with my husband. We both chose breakfast items - chicken and waffles and eggs benedict with Montreal smoked meat. Both meals were sensational. The flavors were perfect; the chicken was crisp and the waffles light. The eggs were perfect and the meat was a great compliment. Servings were generous. The service was quick and very friendly. Oh, and the coffee was great!

Come and try their bacon cheeseburger….is to die for! Flavourful, the meat is cook perfectly, the burger buns are not dry. Served with a nice hand cuts fries.

What a great vibe. Full of positive staff who make it their mission to make your experience the best it can be. Beautiful artwork for sale on the walls. Definitely go check this place out and order the mac and cheese

Don’t let this humble restaurant/bar fall under your radar—it has amazing food, drinks, and service. Braden and the employees are incredibly friendly, the BINGO night on Wednesday is super fun. You get a cool crowd any night of the week. Totally a quality place you don’t want to miss!

Only stopped in for a quick happy hour glass of rose on their back patio while I waited for a friend. Seemed super cute though!

When my brother is in town we hunt for the best Benny’s, first time here and not disappointed, Food was good, we went on weekday for brunch, it was not busy. Service was ok.

I’ll be honest I almost didn’t want to write a review because I don’t want this place to be too popular. The brunch is amazing, large portions and really good! I find with a lot of brunch restaurants there’s a lot of grease in their breakfast but not here! The staff is great and so is the atmosphere one of my favourite places for breakfast

One of the very good burgers I had in town:) beers were also nice. Prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly. Will definitely recommend it to try

We wanted to grab something quick to eat before going to Stanley Theatre. The server was really quick and friendly. Food was delicious too. The atmosphere was great. Seats are arranged a little close to each other with a small barrier (probably aftermath of COVID restrictions).
We enjoyed the experience overall and left happy with the place. I'd recommend it for a quick hangout

Very good food, service and environment, i would recommend to all.

We only had half an hour to quickly grab some food before seeing a show at the theater across the street and when we told the waitress she made sure to out a rush on our food and give us the cheque early so we could eat and leave. It was fast service and great food. It would be nice to visit again when we are not in a rush to leave and we could enjoy more drinks.

This is our go to regular! Great staff and menu choice! Always happy with visiting!

We've been regular customers here since we moved to Vancouver from Germany. They have many great breakfast and brunch offers and amazing drinks. What makes the experience at Barney's even more pleasant is that every single employee here is so friendly and nice (Especially Liam is the best!). They remembered us and our favorite menu after few visits already and always provided a personal and friendly atmosphere. The wonderful customer service + great food + cozy ambient made us go to this place almost every weekend. The place is pretty packed during the weekend, but the waiting is so worth it. Now that we are moving away from the neighborhood, we are already sad to not be able to come to this place so often :(
