Very nice hotel, beds are comfy, clean. The staff is very friendly. The pool & hot but was fabulous.
The only thing I wish they had was a better breakfast.

I stay at Canalta hotels all around Alberta, the Stettler location is by far my favorite. The whole team is very friendly and inviting. The Manager, Emily is amazing, She is the only Person that has ever acknowledge my Titan status, and gave me a free upgrade on my room. I book rooms for 5 crews all year and those perks help make my decision when choosing what hotel to book my crews into. I will always book at a Canalta in Stettler specifically, because of eveyones Hospitality.

thanks guys, good work!

We had the family suite with two bedrooms and a pull out. Very spacious layout, perfect for parents, grandparents and kids. Great pool for kids. We liked the brown bag breakfast as well. Great coffee and tea.

Mainly was an awesome experience, although I think it's time they buy new mattresses for the rooms. Mine was uncomfortable, like the feeling on springs/coils in your ribs.

Wish you could get from your room to the pool without going outside.

We've stayed at many hotels during our little RV adventures, and this was one of the nicest we have ever stayed at. The staff was always friendly, and the food is always great, and Stettler itself is beautiful!!!

Big shout out to Eric and Carly for helping me get checked in, and making us laugh on our way through the Rockies! 🙂🙂🙂🙂

The kids loved the pool and the slide, the hallways were wide, the rooms were great and clean. Got our complimentary breakfasts which were more than enough for us and the kids. Would definitely consider this hotel in the future.

When I arrived to check in, I had to stand and wait for 5-10 minutes while the person behind the desk was on a call. The call was of such a nature that I felt things would have been better handled had the call been put on hold to take a minute to check me in.

Other than that, though, I was very happy with the service. I locked my swipe cards in my room, and then needed plastic cutlery as the dinner I had picked up didn't come with any. Both situations were handled with kindness and patience!

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable! The only issue was that I had a ground level room, and the curtains were hung so that a gap was left for people to be able to look in at an angle, so I had to be careful if I didn't want to be seen!

I am in hotels more than I am home and Canalta hotels are always a pleasant stay. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the hotels and rooms are clean and inviting. The room (123) I had this trip was my favorite by far. Spacious, directly across from the business center, laundry and fitness center with an outside access door. Lots of room for my work equipment, big desk to work at and a semi closed off bedroom that is dark and away from the forced air unit. A week of great sleeps and good stay!!

Thank you!!

We were there for a hockey tournament in Alix, and Stettler was the closest location for us to stay. Hockey tournament weekends can always be a chaotic event, but the staff were absolutely incredible! They were very understanding of the boys running around, and were very polite when asking us to quiet them down.
They even kept the pool open later for us after a late game, which was so kind of them as they didn’t have to do that. The hotel was nice and clean and they provided a great breakfast in the morning. We will define stay there again.

Hotel staff was awesome. Really friendly and helpful. Great pool for the family. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. It's a grab and go breakfast which contained a breakfast sandwich, juice, yogurt and a granola bar. Thanks for the stay.

Excellent value for the money spent. Very clean room. Welcoming, friendly and efficient staff. Great complimentary breakfast (best I have had at a hotel/motel). Swimming pool and hot tub were also great. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Rooms were very clean, staff is super friendly and accommodating. Kids loved the pool and waterslide. Breakfast treat bags were very much appreciated as we headed out for our morning moose hunt. Hotel restaurant meals were good. Would definitely stay again.

Jason at the front desk was excellent with deferring me to an alternate room to avoid an altercation with rowdy Neighbour’s. Tanya the manager went out of her way to ensure the remainder of my was enjoyable. Thank you guys, would 100% recommend

I stayed here for two nights while working in town. Ive been to Stetler a few times and have stayed in several other Hotels. The Canalta is actually really nice for a "2 star" everything is very clean, the room I got was massive with all the basic amenities. They also provide a complimentary breakfast that's bagged and ready to to go. They also hava a restaurant that seems to be really popular, I haven't been there yet but will likely go in the future. Idk if this matters to anyone reading this but the air quality was noticeably good, Im azmatic so I notice those things. Their pool is also over sized for a hotel which is really nice. Big enough to do some laps swiming.

I had a great stay and the price was more then fair.

If you're looking for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price, and easy drive to the Royal Tyrell Museum, this is an ideal spot!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating from check-in to check-out.

The room was clean and tidy, with all toiletries available.

Our complimentary breakfast was served to-go, and included: juice, fruit, granola bar, yogurt, a boiled egg, breakfast, sandwich, and coffee/tea.

Met all my requirements!

I do a LOT of traveling for business and pleasure and I was very impressed with this hotel. The room was lovely. Great layout and immaculately clean. The staff at the hotel and at the in-house restaurant were warm and welcoming. My husband and I look forward to visiting the Stettler area again soon and we will definitely book our accommodations at the Canalta Hotel.

Checking in to the hotel was easy and treated very well by the manager (Brandi) who was very efficient and took the time to let us know their policies with everything going on these days, also she took the time to let us know our options for restaurants around the town but we decided to stay in and order from the town pump that is attached to the building.. Food was excellent with big portions. King suite had soaker tub and couch which made it feel like home. Used the fitness room and the pool both were great to have around. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks to all the staff for such great service.

We enjoyed another stay at the Canalta this week. Bree was on the front desk, and she was very helpful and friendly. She recommended some very good restaurants. Nice clean hotel, and the price is decent. We missed the pool though. Hope it is all ready to go for our trip up in May.

Traveled for work and stayed for 3 nights, originally was booked in a motel room with outside door and requested to change inside for preference which was immediately accommodated (thank you Diana) really appreciated that for my own comfort. Felt secure inside and it was very clean, quiet and comfortable.

We were very happy with our stay at the Canalta in Stettler on Dec. 10, 2021. Jason was very friendly and helpful with our booking reservation, and was waiting for us when we arrived late in the evening, after a long drive and a lengthy medical appointment. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff accommodated a late checkout the next day.
