My absolute favourite climbing store!! They have a huge selection - much, much more than any of the other outdoor stores in the area. All the staff I’ve had have been super knowledgeable and helpful, and whenever I order online, it’s always shipped and received so quickly!! I ran into the owners one day up in Chek while they were inspecting some anchors and they seemed like really lovely people. So happy to support this small business!!

Climb on is by far the best place to get route development hardware. I'm located in the west kootenays and they were able to package and ship a $1500 order of hardware within 24 hours of me first getting in touch. Their bulk hardware program gives big discounts on already great pricing for large orders and the customer service is excellent. The people who work here are clearly experienced climbers / route developers and very involved in the climbing community, and this shows in their expertise.

Climb on will continue to be my go to for climbing gear, and if your looking for route development gear definitely ask about their bulk hardware program!

Bought lots of things from climb on, online and in store. Make sure to look at the items on clearance, they have good discounts. This is the best place for climbers and mountaineers in the sea to sky.

I frequent Climb on quite often and overall I always had a good experience. The staff member named Leo is my favorite, he was very knowledgeable and helpful about many different topics. The rental options are great. I always bring friends there if they don't have gear. I wish it was possible to pick up the rented gear before closure the day before, to allow for some alpine start, when they spoke on the phone about that someone said there was no problem. But then at the store they said it was not possible, and they had to pay for two days... would be great if that can be officially communicated to all staff members. It would be amazing if there was a nice espresso machine to hang out around and chat with the other climbers! Similar to what some bike shops do.

We rented crash pads here for 8 days. The pads were new and the store had an amazing selection of gear. The bouldering guidebook that we bought there is the best one we’ve ever used. But what makes this store special is the super knowledgeable, highly welcoming, and ultra-friendly staff. Thank you so much for adding to our absolutely epic adventure!

Ordered online from them, even though I live in Vancouver. Came within 3-4 days which is amazing since I was expecting it in a week or so. Everyone was packed nicely, in perfect condition, and I even got a nice sticker to place on my water bottle!

Bought 2 pairs of climbing shoes for my wife and I. It was our first pair and got amazing help and advice from Eric. My shoes were not the perfect fit even after wearing them at home to break into them. Went back to the store and tried 7 pairs (at least, probably 10 pairs) of shoes before finding the right fit. I absolutely love shopping at Climb On and always go out of my way to make as many of my outdoor purchases at this store! The staff are so helpful,friendly and knowledgable I always leave knowing more than when I arrived. The loyalty reward point system the store has is a huge bonus in my opinion show’s they care about their loyal customers.
