I am very particular about who i let work on my hair. Brooke made me feel comfortable and heard during my visit, she is very phenomenal at what she does. Brooke is super thorough you can definitely tell she cares about you and your hair. I will definitely be going back!

She finds really good balance and gives the best advice. Very professional, unpretentious yet undeniably cool, and extremely accommodating.

Brooke went out of her way to turn my very long, greying-yet-brassy mess of hair into a dreamy summertime blond with beautiful face-framing layers, and I feel like a million bucks. I have been searching for a stylist who knows how to do a crisp blonde without any yellow undertones, and without using a mountain of toner at the wash station. Brooke did the most incredible job. The blonde is perfect and I could not be happier!! The cut is really great and compliments the highlights around my face. Salon is really cute and tidy, and the plants are all big and healthy! (Another good sign!)

If you want an excellent haircut and personable service, I highly recommend Emily’s Hair Design! I have THICK, long hair that is not easy to cut or style, and I always leave happy. I have been to Emily, and regularly go to Raina, and I have had nothing but personable service – they listen to what I want and provide advice on styling. I’m always hesitant to spend too much money on products, but they only recommend ones that truly work for my hair (long and curly!). I have happily recommended Emily’s Hair Design to coworkers and friends (male and female) and will continue to be a loyal customer.

Emily is a wonderful stylist. She takes the time to really understand what I am looking for, reflecting back her understanding of what I want before proceeding. She's a skilled technical cutter and does great colour work as well. Besides doing a consistently great job on my hair, she has also given my husband his best cuts ever. Highly recommend!

Blown away by the fantastic customer service and haircut I received here on my very first visit. As a new client, I accidentally used the online booking system wrong and showed up two months early for my first appointment. When Emily heard the problem, she offered to work overtime to fit me in the same day and stayed after work till 8pm. Not only did she give me a fantastic hair cut and consultation, but even though she was working overtime, she didn't rush and went above and beyond to make my cut really good. I will definitely be back! Very happy with the hair product she recommended as well.

Emily has created a vibrant boutique salon in the heart of downtown Squamish. The space is light, bright, clean and welcoming. Her close knit team of stylists are personable, professional and their practise meets the same high standards that Emily herself sets. Underpinning the creative friendly energy that permeates the salon is a very disciplined, organized team who know the right questions to ask and have the expertise to ensure you leave not just feeling good, but happy. If you’ve never been to Emily’s I highly recommend you treat yourself. Book early however as a loyal following is fully established!

I've been going to Emily for over two years now and I wish I had found her earlier. All the previous reviews are spot on. Emily knows hair she's not only technically precise, and up to date in all the trends. Emily has a unique way of complementing your personality with your style. So you don't just get a hair cut you get an upgrade :) Always prompt and on time for her services as well.

I was so nervous going in and did not know what to expect, since in the past I have had very bad experiences and never really liked the aftermath of a haircut. When I walked in to Emily hair designs I was greated with open arms and Emily made me feel right at home. As we got started she began with a consultation, asking me what I liked and did not like about the Style's I had chose for myself and what I
really did want out of the style, she gave me amazing advice and I never felt so comfortable as I did when I was in Emily's hands her self and her staff are amazing and do an amazing job at what they do I will definitely be going back! Two thumbs up and 5 bright shinning stars.

Emilie is a rockstar! She is a true hair professional - she absolutely knows her stuff. From the start at consultation, Emilie takes the time to understand your hair and what you want from it. She’ll work with you and explain everything she suggests so you feel fully in control of the results - which are always excellent. I’ve never felt in better hands. I've been going to Emily and Brooke since Emily opened her studio in Squamish (I believe in 2011 or 2012?). Both Emily and Brooke are amazing stylists and colourists! I have gone from long to bobs and all lobs in-between. Fire Hydrant Red to Amethyst Purple to black and blue and I've never had such great styles and colors from Emily and Brooke! I can't recommend this place enough ! They are wonderful hair transformists! so if you're thinking of doing something drastic (change) to your hair, you are in good hands with these two!

I really wish I had known about Emily's Hair sooner. It's so nice to find someone who feels confident cutting curly hair, and right here in Squamish. Emily explained clearly what she was going to do and how to re-create the desired result at home, and I left feeling great. After an eight-month-long bad hair day, I finally love my hair. I had a ‘hair transformation’ at Emily’s! I went from long, straight (boring) hair to a short, modern cut- and I love it!! Emily and her stylists are so professional and friendly, they really do take great care of you and your hair. I would highly recommend Emily’s for the whole ‘salon’ experience.
