During my house renovations Elber was the electrician who looked after all the upgrades and the new wiring that was required. He did a wonderful job and was excellent at explaining to me what he was doing and why.

I called on Sunday night due to power outage/black out and was able to get help right away via phone call and text. He was so kind and patient on the phone even though it was late and I was able to reset the electricity. He was very professional to be able to know the cause of the problem from far and whether if I was doing it correctly or not. It was frustrating not to have light/power but thanks to him I was able to get it back.

Had a new light fixture installed where there wasn't one plus pot lights replaced in the kitchen, the technician was on time, professional, made good suggestions on where to locate the new light fixture, left everything clean with no extra holes in the walls (for switch) or ceiling. Very happy with the result! I used them 2 years ago to replace potlights in the bathroom and a ceiling fan, and will use them again in the future.

As part of a garage-build this spring, the electrical service to my home needed to be upgraded, and a subpanel installed in the new garage. My contractor recommended Made Electric, and Elber came by and provided a quote, capturing my needs and wishes.
After agreeing to the quote, Elber gave me guidance with the process of arranging with Toronto Hydro for the service upgrade. On the day of the upgrade, Niko and Phil came by to install the upgraded panel and extend wiring to the new garage. Everything went smoothly, including prompt ESA certification and my power was restored per the timeline I was given (I work from home, so this was important).
Niko and Phil then came back a few more times to complete wiring in the garage and install lighting and security cameras, working around the schedule of the garage construction. They always showed up when they said they would. Whenever they were on site, they were respectful of my property, and cleaned up before they left. When all was done, Niko arranged for the ESA inspector to come by who signed-off on the whole project without issue. Made Electric was great to work with!

Elber and his team at Made Electric saved Christmas. Literally. It was December 23 when an oversized garbage truck barrelled down our residential street, tearing down our house’s hydro mast and wire. It was 8:30 in the morning. A massive winter storm was headed for the city - and Toronto Hydro shut down our power until we could have the mast repaired. Frantic, I must have called a half dozen electrical companies. Most either didn’t answer, didn’t return my message or - in the worst case scenario - told me they weren’t taking calls that day because of the pending storm and advised me to run an extension cord from a neighbour for power (!!!!!)

Enter Elber and Made Electric. Elber responded right away, and asked for photos of the damage so that he could ensure he had the materials on hand for an immediate repair! He and Nico then arrived less than an hour later and worked THROUGH THE STORM to complete our repair, secure our inspection and approval, and ensure Toronto Hydro hooked us back up.

By the evening, we had power, heat, and were enjoying a holiday dinner.

Today, Elber and his crew are our go-to electrical team. And we’ve found them just as pleasant and responsive for everyday needs - like installing a dimmer switch - as they were for a big emergency job. Call them. You won’t be disappointed.

We met with many electricians for our garage build and no one was better than Made Electric. They were so incredibly respectful, knowledgeable, kind and all around wonderful to deal with. We had a pretty complex project which some electricians flat out said they would not do and Made Electric came and made it look easy.
