Fisherville Tavern

This restaurant has amazing food. They use fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I ordered their fish and chips, and it was one of the best I've ever had. I got their homemade key lime pie to go and it tasted divine! The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Whenever I'm in Fisherville, I'm going back here! There's something on the menu for everyone.

Stopped by the Fisherville Tavern after attending a company event nearby. We were lucky enough they still had the Canada day menu still active. We were not disappointed. Great food, fast service and fantastic food. We were a group of 6 and everyone was impressed with the food taste, flavours and portion size for the price. It was a great value and a great time. I highly recommend the Fisherville Tavern. It is also a short drive from the water so a great option to stop on your way there or back.

Husband and I went out for supper. First time just us in a while. Saw your ad in the Haldimand Press newspaper. Thank you. What a homey atmosphere. We sat and enjoyed a beer, while listening to the vinyl. Enjoyed a fish and chip platter that was fresh and hot. Staff couldn't do enough to make sure we were looked after. Loved that we could have gone over and played pool. Will remember that for next time.

Stopped by this place after our rainy camp night at Selkrik Park. I ordered a greek salad, small serving of clam chowder soup, pasta with butter and parmesan for the kids, a TAV ultimate beef burger with fries on the sides, my kid loved the crunchy fries. I ordered the Yorkshire Beef Bowl, the serving was so delicous that we really emptied all the plates. I would love to recommend this place if you nearby Selkrik Camp.

In my opinion, Wing Day is every day at the Tav!! I will get wings any day, not just Tuesday! The regulars are an absolute treat. Music is turntable and encouraged to have a look and choose from vinyl. The owners are great people. It's definitely a good spot.

We live 20 minutes away, always said we would come here. Today - we did!! Really glad we did too - friendly staff and good food, plus choose an LP to play - now that is awesome old school!

We had an absolutely fabulous dinner and time. Played pool all night and Eric played us his fabulous old records! Showed our friends from Cleveland a fabulous time! Thanks again, Terry, Joanne, Brian and Cheryl🎵🇨🇦🇺🇸❤

Service was great. Very friendly, funny and personable owner!
Our table of 4 had 2 fish platters. It was the best I've had anywhere in years!!! Between the 4 of us we only left 3 pieces of perch on the platter which also included haddock, fries and onion rings....highly recommended!!
Next time I'm back this way I'm stopping in!

If you haven't tried this place out yet then you are missing out on a hidden gem! It is located on the corner in a small little town, but if you are driving through, you will see the sign. Well if you are driving through town, STOP! You don't want to miss out on this place! The atmosphere is very clean and cozy. To me it feels like a remodeled old cottage and it is done well. The owners are the Friendliest people you will ever meet and the food. The food is AMAZING! I have been here a couple times now and the food is something to put on the map. Great portions, great price, great flavor and everything is fresh. So next time you are passing through town, stop and pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed.

The best fish and chips ive had in my whole life the batter was so delicious cant waot to go back miss beverly already if you know you know the owner very welcoming and friendly felt like ive know them for years was very happy to have visited this wonderful establishment and food was worth every single dollar very clean well run place also has pool table and live band hats off to the owners

The very best Philly Steak sandwich we have EVER eaten! Made with prime rib, sautéed peppers and onions on a hoagie bun toasted with garlic butter. Yummmm!!

We were greeted the moment we entered - had a late lunch the perch was beautifully cooked - nice and moist served with fresh cut fries, celery bread coleslaw, corn on the cob, tarter sauce & lemon - delicious server was friendly & attentive - this place is certainly worth the stop not far from Lake Erie - nice atmosphere - a clean homey inn

Stopped by The Tav for a quick bite to eat while staying in Selkirk. 10/10- chicken tenders were amazing and pulled pork sandwich was so tasty! It was all fresh, our server was super nice, the decor was great. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area! Will be going again.
