Caruso's Family Restaurant & Ice Creamery

Absolutely AMAZING food and service! Their fried zucchini, pasta dishes and salads are as good (or better) than any fine dinning restaurant I have been to. The atmosphere of the restaurant does not match the food but I think that actually adds something special; no need to dress up…. PS their wings and wine are also WONDERFUL!

We went for a large family dinner. They prepared a great meal with 40 people. It was very well done.

Amazing service, staff and quality put into ingredients and preparation. Easy these days to choose convenience over quality, great to see a family run establishment providing health conscious alternatives to the mainstream options especially if you care about what you eat.

First time visiting Caruso’s tonight for pizza and wings and omg the food was beyond amazing! We tried different flavours of wings and they just kept getting better and better. Amazing family run business!! Service was outstanding we will be back soon!!

Stopped in here on a road trip. Google search for area restaurants landed us.

We has such a lovely time at Carusos! We were unsure when we walked in, don't let the atmosphere deter you. We had such great service and the food was delicious! Best fish & chips I've had in a while (ans I worked in an Irish pub). Kids LOVED the homemade chicken strip and the handrolled pizza was worth the wait! The kids enjoyed ice cream from the parlor afterwards. Lively experience, will be back! Wish they had booths along walla near windows, would feel more welcoming and homey.

We had a great little day trip in the area, and decided to check this place out. Service and the food were wonderful. Beautiful patio too. We had the clam appetizer as a starter to go with local draft beers on the hot day. Refreshing and Perfect way to start off our meal. ,Fish and chips were fantastic, and the grilled chicken pesto on a bun were spot on.
Ice cream cones were a nice dessert to finish it up. Definitely recommend when you're out in the area. Will be back.

The pizza was great and the Greek salad I had before the pizza was one of the best that I have ever had!! Great place!!!! Would eat here again for sure!!!!

This is a great family style restaurant. Staff was friendly. Food was hot and delicious. Price was reasonable.

I ended up in sleepy Haldimand County to pick up a new vehicle from a local car dealership, but the drive there from St. Catharines took so long my family and I were starving afterwards. Caruso's is the only local place to eat in Cayuga, but let me tell you, it's the only place there needs to be. This place is awesome. The woman who served us (I believe she is the owner too) could not have been more pleasant, warm, and inviting. She told me she makes everything in the restaurant homemade herself, and I believe her. Everything was delicious--we tried off each other's plates--the Canadian burger, fish and chips, tacos, and poutine. The place was clean, quiet, and casual, and great prices for everything too. My parents are from the US and are not really accustomed to some of the subtle differences in culture and etiquette we have here in Ontario, sometimes they feel like fish out of water, but the staff here made them feel like they were right at home. Canadian hospitality done right! We will absolutely be back.

Giving Caruso’s 5 + stars. Such nice people and the food was fantastic and tasted home cooked and fresh. Was a bit of a wait due to them being short staffed but we didn’t mind. The waitress came over and kept chatting with us and apologized, but we told her not to worry about it. We didn’t really wait long at all but they felt bad. Once our food came the portions were huge and it was so good!!!😋 Then the cook came out to say hello and apologized and asked how it was. She was so sweet and we told her it was great and we would be back! It’s hard finding a friendly place with good food these days. Caruso’s is the place to go!

food was delicious and waitress was very nice.

What a great lunch! The soup was made from scratch and was delicious! My husband had the blt and said it was also very good. Our server was lovely and was able to offer great suggestions. We will definitely make a point of coming back again when we are going through Cayuga again!

The menu is outstanding and every dish is home cooked - well it’d be home cooked if I had a premier chef at home I guess. Best fries I’ve had in my life of 55yrs. Rueben was melt in mouth. Greek salad loaded with feta and the lettuce was … CLEAN.

Love love love you guys and can’t wait to get back that way if only to eat at your wonderful establishment.

We had an amazing time tonight. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. My husband has an allergy and they were accommodating, answering any questions we had. Food was delicious, everything is made fresh and you can tell. A seasonal beer was on tap, great for a small restaurant. Thank you! We'll be back!

We dropped in from out of town for lunch after spending the day at the Motorsport park. A must visit restaurant. We had their fish chips and my kids had their chicken club w fries and Caesar salad. So good !!! Their homemade gravy is a must try. 😋😋. Will definitely come again.

Ordered the fried chicken sandwich for takeout for my lunch today (my first time getting food from Caruso’s) and it was so damn good that I had to call them back after I had finished to let them know how impressed I was with my meal. I will definitely be back. I would also like to add that the waitress working when I picked up my food was amazing and really made you feel welcome

First visit. Friendly, clean & yummy! Best french fries I have had in a very long time. We will come back!

The perfect family restaurant with a cozy, small-town feel. Top notch food. The fish and chips are a must try. Excellent customer service with genuine care.
