This is a memorial site and a sacred place. I was extremely moved by the history here, and the story of Rose's life and how she tried to help her people.. It is a story that should be shared especially since it brings to the forefront concepts and feelings that may be difficult to process.

Situated on a small Hill above Fraser Lake this is the site of an annual pilgrimage in July. People come from alll over Canada to celebrate the life of the remarkable Aboriginal woman. The ground are maintained by volunteers and the area is beautiful. Well worth a visit any time of year.
